Thanks 🙏 I think 🤔 this came out really well as far as the sound mix goes, perhaps one of my best sounding tracks I’ve done. I keep forgetting when to stop 🛑 Then I finally had a near perfect video, and the camera was out of focus 🤬🤬🤬 I had to do it all over again, that took many takes until I was satisfied, I’m very fussy.
Your drums are back to their super great sound. I don’t know what was going on with a song I listened to yesterday, but the sound just wasn’t as prevalent. Great sound and super duper drumming, my snoozy friend.❤️🙏👏❤️🙏👏❤️
@@gregwonhoff7161 thanks Greg , I think this is one of my best sounding mixes I’ve done. It’s all hit and miss for me and varies from song to song. After every song I will analyze what I think 🤔 needs tweaking to get the next song sounding better, there are situations where I play a song and it sounds fine. I don’t touch any of the settings and play another song and the drums just don’t sound right.. I try and balance all the levels and I’m engaging by the sound in my earbuds that I’m wearing sometimes it sounds. It’s perfect and then I come upstairs and put it on the computer and it’s a horrible mix. The music is too loud or the music is too low or drum is too loud , so it’s a constant battle. I would say most of the better drummers on UA-cam such as Earl they have a system where they can change the settings of the volumes and tones of the music and each drum after the first recording , unfortunately I don’t have that equipment or knowledge how to work the equipment so I have to go the easiest route I can do which is the mix from my board directly into my camera and then I can’t change anything unless I redo this song again. But I am very happy with the results of this one I have different snares, but every time I switch, I’m gambling with the sound so I’m keeping the snare set up for now. I don’t want to touch anything.. just moving the microphone for the snare 1 inch can destroy the sound and then it takes me song after song to finally get the right snares sound again. Today is our 29th wedding anniversary and we’re going out for a nice dinner with friends , not sure 🤔 if I will get a new song done today?

We have to pick her up because she’s going into a seniors home next Monday. She’s 91 and has recently lost it 🧠 It’s not gonna be an easy time for my wife for the next 5 days. We have to take her off my sister in law’s hands, who’s pretty well having a nervous breakdown because of The Old Lady. Who’s insane. 😮 It’s going to be a nightmare for us this week. I’m not sure 🤔 if I will be able to drum 🥁
