I miss the time when this was possible. I just love how they enjoy themselves during the performance, their passion, their pureness, their spirits, love, solidarity, power.
You girls are so awesome. My favorite so far
This is awesome. Visually and the music.
美しすぎて、いつまでもずっと見て聴いていたい。どのAve Generosaを聴いても最後には必ずこの動画に戻ってきます。
I love it from Japan🇯🇵💙†
This brought tears of joy to my eyes! Just so beautiful, I can't stop. Four years ago, means you are all grown up, and I hope God has been allowed to stay in your lives. My granddaughter walked away., after graduating from special arts high school. She did not need God. Or so she thought, and what she is dealing with, and will be, for the next 15 years, is heartbreaking. Keep Blessed mother close. Never take Her, or Her Son, or our Catholic faith for granted.
태어나서 들었던 뭐든 노래들 중에 제일 멋있어요
Perfect interpretation. Marvellous.
Exquisite piece performed exquisitely. Bravo!

Bravo! von den ca. 50 Interpretationen dieses Stücks, in die ich reingehört habe, (weil wir das gerade im Chor proben) gefällt mir diese am besten (außerdem sind die Mädels am hübschesten)
This is very wonderful to listen to and to watch. I am from Illinois in the U.S.

Paroles (latin puis français) :
Ave generosa, gloriosa et intacta puella,
tu pupilla castitatis, tu materia sanctitatis,
que Deo placuit.
- - - - - - -
Salut, ô généreuse, ô Vierge glorieuse,
pupille de chasteté, matière de sainteté,
toi qui as plu à Dieu !
You are very good and Gjeilo is a real genius! My choir sang "Days of Beauty" and "The Rose" using a new arrangement and adapting the songs for male and female choir, making spectacular videos with stunning scenery and views. Write this in the search: I hope you like it!

Hail, girl of noble house,
shimmering and unpolluted,
you pupil in the eye of chastity,
you essence of sanctity,
which was pleasing to God.

Contrary to the totally misleading description provided above, "Ave Generosa is a part of a trilogy. All the songs are connected to cherished love from the female perspective towards a role model, a child and a lover," the text of Ave Generosa is actually the first few lines of a much longer composition written by St. Hildegard Von Bingen, a Catholic nun who lived during the 12th century. The full text is a beautiful hymn extolling the virtues of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the young Mother of Jesus Christ, the Son of God. The translation for these first lines provided below is included in the Walton Music (GIA) sheet music for Gjelio's composition. Several English translations of the full text can be found elsewhere online and are more literal, beautiful, and compelling than the excerpt found here. Did these young women know of whom they were singing? Beautiful long dresses would have been appropriate attire.
You misunderstood the description. The other songs in the "trilogy" are these

Magnifique interprétation, mais pourquoi cette prononciation bizarre du mot PLACUIT? Il faut prononcer PLAKUIT et pas PLATCHOUIT!!! ;-)
I was wondering the same...
