I've transferred about 90% of my 120-ish plants into semi-hydro (Lechuza Pon and LECA), and there is one consistency I've learned that's stuck with me throughout my 'transition' and plant journey: There is no right answer. There is no magic. Your way won't work for me. My way won't work for you. There is only, trial and error. And it's the greatest and most consistent teacher I have ever had. What I learned stuck with me, when it didn't break my heart. And with that happy thought, don't be afraid to try - YOU SHALL LEARN! 😎👍
OMG, I have one person in my life that takes great joy in telling me and everyone else that I have made the wrong decision by growing in 'these balls', even though my plants look great and in particular my Fiddle Leaf Figs that just look fabulous. I guess the proof is in the pudding 🤣
Great Video! I just started doing moss poles with Semi-hydro. I'm transitioning all my plants into LECA and it's been a fun journey. Not as expensive as I thought since I went the Leca not Pon route!
hi nora thank god i started watching your chanel have been using leca for 4 months and will never use soil agin was fed up with fungas nats i am growing snake plants spiders busy lizzys chinees ever greens defanbacers dracenas even crotons that people said they would not be grown in leca took a risk and so far 3 weeks later still doing well thank you so much for tranforming my life
I’ve yet to find a downside to transitioning to LECA. I’ve done all of my plants with the exception of my 3 foot Norfolk Pine, and it’s next on the list! Everybody seems extremely happy and looking beautiful, loving the consistency of water and nutrients.
This is my go to channel when i need information on anything growing in leca. Do you have the recipe for the " plant bath" solution??? Such an excellent tip. Thanks your HIGHNESS.
I just found you and I instantly subscribed. The way you presented this material is quite unlike any of those (young gimicky) influencers showing off their COLLECTION. This was well thought out and well said, and was presented like a real talk show. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
Hi! Just found your channel as I’m exploring transitioning to semi hydro.. I’m leaning more towards Pon or pumice/lava rocks. Would you say all your Leca advice applies just the same?
