Yeah, that lizard guy you're talking about is supposed to be a lizard version of Barney Calhoun. He was added in as a fun little cameo/reference.
CrimsonAlphaField Thanks for expressing interest in the mod. Metal Slug was the main inspiration for my mod. It's technically done. However, if I ever pick it up again, I would try to update some of the sprites, namely the Combat Shotgun and the Katana. I'd also give the EXAR-1 (the second assault rifle that has a 50 bullet magazine capacity) a secondary attack.
Is there any other doom games you can think of to make All weapons in each wad 5?
Lizard squad reminds me of all of the flash games I used to play.

Why are the sounds different in skulltag doom in this one?
Well apparently the weapon sounds other sound such as death sounds are from the PS1 port of doom.

+mateus1491 try using other source ports like skulltag, zandronum, zdoom, etc. and maybe even risen 3d as a last resort
