Woke up to "Looper has uploaded a new WR". The day got started the proper way for sure! Really, his playing is starting to resemble art. So consistent, so smooth, just a pleasure to watch.
The more I rewatch and analyse this run the more I realise how refined and precise your gameplay is. I have only gotten up to M9 in a single run. Hitting the rockets on M7 and M9 is so stressful

This is making me realise that Doom Slayer from 2016 & Eternal are not over the top lol 😂 He's always been capable of that based on how freaking fast and bad ass he is in the original games 😂
I'll use this as a rough guide to finish my coop nightmare run with a controller that makes running a nightmare itself. A lot of the tricks won't be doable but it'l help immensely.
The most interesting thing about this run is that he had a tasty pie cooling on the window sill and was hurrying up so he could enjoy it before it was too cold.
Interestingly, it is more impressive to complete a map slowly on nightmare than "semi-fast speedrun" of the same map on nightmare, because the hp/armor doesnt respawn, while the monsters do.
@@hfc2x It's always possible, but too risky at the moment. There are things that are less risky and save about the same amount of time. It just gets so tough to get everything in one run
The glide is done here sideways, because mouse strafing can only produce "Strafe Left 2" commands at minimum, so when the mouse register any movement, it is the best possible movement. If you face the gap directly forwards, your mouse can produce "Move Forward 1" commands, along with MF2. MF1 is unwanted, as it does not even move the player.
Yeah, if he hadn't fucked up some of those exit doors, I wonder if he could've gotten like maybe 1 or 2 seconds faster? Because I know in speedrunning, 1 or 2 seconds faster is HUGE! (I am new to DOOM II speedrunning)
