This guy is soft. I rocked my OU gear at dozens of MU football and basketball games. When Eduardo Najera was waving up the boos in the Hearnes Center, I was standing on my seat, doing the same. When Stoops pulled out the win, with the fake FG, I was there cheering, wearing my gear. I couldn't care less what an MU fan thinks about us, or me. I get it that he is media, but if you are a fan at a road game, and you are hiding your affiliation, then you are a coward.
When has OU had a bad offense in 20yrs besides when tbow left. Got the best OL coach in college football. He's got more OL starting in the NFL than any other team. His 1st rounder last year wasn't starting until freshman Sexton got hurt. Then Sexton started the last 4 games. Referees had ALOT to do with OU's two loses last year. Lebby to in the Kansas. Fans got on him for his father in law on the field. Knew he was gone then. We don't have to win the conference, just make the playoffs. Can we win the conference absolutely. Been a sooner fan since 1974 youngsters I've seen OU DAWG OUT. Like Bob says the coaches don't make one play on that field. The players do. BOOMER SOONER

Being close doesn’t make Mizzou an automatic rivalry. Up until Caden Green left Mizzou wasn’t even an afterthought. OU doesn’t want to have a rival once again that hasn’t even had the success that OSU has had. Tennessee seems like a good opportunity to be a rivalry with similar fan bases and Tennessee has a rich history and….they currently do not have a rivalry of any kind. Mizzou has Kansas and K-state. I hope we don’t give Mizzou fans the thought that they are even worthy of being a rivalry. Again we have played them more than anyone else not named UT and not once were they ever even considered close to being a rivalry. Let’s hope that doesn’t happen. Not a big game OU fans could get consistently excited about. This year is different. If we lose? Maybe that pours some gasoline on the situation but outside of that? Let’s pray Mizzou doesn’t end up being our SEC rivalry. How can the country even get excited about that game? Auburn and Alabama have a geographical element to it but they are literally in the same state. That’s different. Missouri or Arkansas ( Arkansas fans hate OU ) but either one of those teams move the needle regarding the excitement of the,game. Let’s have better expectations than teams such as that ONLY because the are close to Oklahoma. We OWN that series. Too many fans out there still remember to good Mizzou teams of the past and even then nothing more,came out of those games other than a win. Let’s don’t push that narrative and let’s aim higher than either one of those teams.
to me as long as Jackson Arnold isnt getting sacked 7 times a game Ou will be scoring 35+ points per game on average but only giving up 21- points per game on average.. just wait if JA has any time at all to throw he will light up SEC defenses!
Being that ou defense gave up 31 PPG last EIGHT games of the season is a BIG ask. Especially considering sooner defense will face FIVE of top six offenses in the SEC. SEC also plays better defense than the xii. MUCH better.

I think Natural SEC rivals will be ATM, Mizzou and LSU.
LSU fans are rabid, and Oklahoma has had problems with them.
