Disneyland FOOD REVIEW! Best & Worst Foods

- Опубліковано 6 сер 2024
- I visited the happiest place on earth Disneyland! Disneyland is known for its attractions and rides, but I didn't go there for that. I went to go on a food adventure to see what best and worst foods they served in Disneyland. After touring the food stalls at the park, I had to get some real dinner because eating the food at the park didn't fill me up as much. So I went to eat some Chinese food at one of my favorite restaurants in San Gabriel.

Mike is the type of guy who would break into a highly protected prison just to try the prison lunches
Nope he wouldn't break in, he would politely call ahead and put his name on the waiting list,..😁
Lol ikr
Lmao wth Hahahaha ❤️
very good idea. I don't think I will go to prison because I am too coward to break any law. But I will certainly like to know how prison food is rated.

5.25 For a single churro. Disney needs to be stopped.

Exactly. All living in motels, surrounded by the happiest place on earth.
Going to Disney land Japan food, tbh it's so much better than here in usa
In California....That’s pretty normal

I love Disneyland, but I wish they would put more quality into the food especially because the price is so high
Supposedly, the quality is in the restaurants, but yeah you're right. For common everyday items, they're charging an arm and a leg.
Yeah. I was so hungry the last time i went to disneyland and i barely ate. I only drank drinks and ate a snack. I became hangry at the end lol.
The food is generally good and the restaurants are outstanding
Tristen Celeste
And guess what. Almost every Disneyland makes enough money to pay the parks bills for the whole year within the first two hours of being open one day. They make tons of money. The reason they upped the price is because to many people were buying tickets, but even tho the tickets were tripled, people are still buying tickets
go to disneyland paris.. you will HATE IT omg the food there is sooo much worse than america

Disneyland food really isn't that good. I always thought it was incredibly expensive and not that great, like a disappointment. The corn dogs were amazing as a kid though and were one of my favorite things there. I remember being shocked by how good a corn dog could taste lol! I also really liked the MickeyMouse head lollipops that are in 5? different flavors like banana and bubblegum? cottoncandy? I don't know but those were amazing IMO.
At least He's honest. When I went back in 2017 for my grad nite, I enjoyed the food.
@@sillysillyputty8723 Yeah, it's over priced and not that great, I don't think they're taking the easy way out with processed ingredients
I appreciate you putting the prices with the food items!
While he did eat more than the typical Disneyland vacationer would in one day, the total cost was quite amazing. Assuming this trip happened after the latest Disneyland price increase, and assuming he went on a day with the lowest anticipated crowd (cheapest day ticket option), the total cost of these items was an impressive $238.69 with the breakdown as follows:
Ticket Price (assumed cheapest option): $104
Parking (he drove): $25
Corndog with Lays and Bacon Ketchup: $10.58
Dole Whip Float: $6.49
Chicken Bao: $5.99

Dessert Lumpia: $6.99
Indiana Jones Adventure: Included
Safari Skewer: $4.99
Banyan Beef Skewer: $5.49
Pork Belly Skewer: $6.49
Spicy Pickle: $3.99
Smoked Turkey Leg: $11.49

Matterhorn Bobsleds Drink: Complimentary
Sugar Plum Churro: $5.25
Powdered Sugar Beignets (3-pack): $4.99
Candy Cane Beignets (3-pack): $4.99
Disney Mint Julep: $4.99
Plaza Inn Fried Chicken Meal: $17.99

What did you expect? Its an amusement park, the only establishments in the world where you can get 2 star foods for 5 star prices
@AniMeusic That's pretty much the problem with pretty much every attraction in America, like at movies, museums, road side attractions, etc....All price absorption i tell you!
@AniMeusic like, why am I paying $6.75 for a watered down coke when I could just buy a bottle of the same amount of oz at a gas station for $2

You're honest as hell and I love it. Genuinely helpful on what to avoid.
I would not taste a lot of that food. Rather go for some garlic french fries or something else.
Disneyland food is so disgustingly overpriced. Over 10 bucks for a single corn dog with chips. And 12 bucks for a turkey leg.
In Japan that would be 5 dollars or less. That's enough for 3 or 4 kids meals at Macdonalds
If you only want the corn dog but not the chips (or apples), you can order just the corn dog and they'll charge you less. It's still an expensive corn dog though!
Lol, Walmart has a corn dog for $1. The giant hot dog was also like 12 dollars. (Not in the video, but I saw one once and it was just a hot dog that was the size of maybe 3 hot dogs, and some chili and chips).

The foods super expensive for just average food!
Most amusement park food is tbh. There is some good food but for the most part it's basically fair food.
Welcome to Disney World!
Disney food is probably the best amusement park food in my opinion.
Not at Tokyo Disney my dude, super cheap st Tokyo Disney, at Disney Land it’s 750 yen for a turkey leg
For the meat on the squeers which i knew as pinchos seem to be average, i went to a truck that sold em and they we're amazing, but in Disney it isn't the best.
It’s just something about Disneyland, it just makes me so happy , the vibe , the nostalgia, the atmosphere

Sundarkand
I hope you've had the chance to go back to try the Monte Cristo at Cafe Orleans because it is really good! The garlic fries there are also good. Generally for the New Orleans district, you'll want to make a reservation for the Blue Bayou and Cafe Orleans as they are almost always packed.
Going over to California Adventure, head to the harbor area and try the soup/bread bowls, REALLY good! The broccoli cheddar soup and the clam chowder are my go-to's and if it's a chilly night or you need to warm up after a water ride, it's perfect! Right across from that is the Ghirardelli shop! HEAVEN! I always have to go there for either the cookies and cream shake, or their salted caramel hot chocolate. *swoons*
Pizza Port by Space Mountain has some pretty decent pasta. Their pizza is mediocre. There was also a dessert cup thing that was mint and chocolate that was pretty dang good! xD
Now rides.... On Thunder Mountain you gotta sit in the last row; 14 or 15, if you want to feel the dips, turns, and speed better. Splash Mountain; sit in the back row if you want to have as minimal splashes as possible, or the front row if you want to get drenched! Front row is pretty good for Space Mountain, and the best for California Screamin' (now Incredicoaster) in California Adventure.
So in conclusion their sweets are definitely more of a hit than their savory foods then. As a fellow Asian person, I really really want to try that plum flavored churro especially since you said it was actually a bit magical.
Mike when he eats the food:
"My weapon of choice. Both in war, and in food. This is the infamous turkey leg. Last time I had this, I remember it was in some amusement park in St. Louis, Missouri when I was 12. It's a lot smaller than I remember. Probably because I was a lot smaller back then. I need a bigger mouth. I guess my jaw muscle workout continues. I feel like i'm eating a Turkey Jurkey. The flavor is good. *mumbles* That's pretty dry. This is why you need this. *holds spicy pickle* This is good, even though it's just spicy, it's not really spicy. but it does go good with the turkey leg. Dont even try this without a pickle. If you're wondering why i finished it, you know if you payed 11 dollars for a leg of turkey, you're finishing it.
"
Mike after he goes on a ride:
"Eh, that was kinda fun."
Chris Nott hahaha as a huge fan of big thunder mountain and Disney rides in general that did hurt a bit to hear 😂
Mike, when you were describing that chicken dumpling, I think the words you were looking for are "Agressively mediocre".
Made for the masses. You have to appeal to a wide range of palates so it can't be too spicy or wild. Result is a bland item for someone with the gastrointestinal experience of someone like Mike.
