Happy happy Friday, Michelle! You always make such clear and engaging tech videos. Thanks so much! I am starting at a new school this year, but still in third grade. This will be a great opportunity for me to use Fig Jam with my students. I hope your professional development, powerlifting training, and personal monthly goals are going well. I'm rooting you on! 💜

This is exciting! Thanks for all the great tips. I think this would make a great space for reading reflections and accountable talk.

Great tutorial as always! I’m definitely going to start thinking of ways to use this in my classroom in September!

Thank you so much Valérie! 🖤 I’m happy you enjoyed it and there are so many ways to use it with your students (and even with other coworkers) 🎉

Thank you, Michelle, for including two of my templates!!! 3-2-1 and Triangle-Circle-Square! This video is such an easy way to help people get started in FigJam.

Michelle, I initially started watching your content when I was going to be a teacher (and because when you were younger you looked JUST like my sister in law), but I have since long left wanting to be a teacher, but I stay for your vlogs. I was watching a video from another person on UA-cam a couple weeks back. and I got confused when I didn't hear your outro message. I couldn't figure out where I had heard it before, then the next day I watched one of your vlogs and said "that's it! There it is!" All this to say, I've memorized your outro without realizing I had, and I forgot where I was hearing it.

I used Jamboard for students to complete word sorts. I'm hoping FigJam is allowed on our school computers. It looks great

This might be a silly question. But could you give an example on how you would use fig jam? Am I asking a focus question and students are answering?

So I recently tried this. And it seems to be working fine except, I am not able to view the Student work in Google classroom. Can you share an easy way for teachers to check students work or check on how they're doing while they are working. Jam board had that feature and it was beautiful.

I made the transition from Jamboard to FigJam last year and enjoy the new program. My only issue is some students love to overwhelm the board with stamps and other distractions. I know I can turn off multiview cursor so I don’t see it during instruction, but can I turn off student cursors so others students are not distracted.

I used to use Jam Board all the time! But in the most simplest way…… for instance I would put up a prompt like “Carnival” then every student would google image search and put in a pic of ‘carnival’ or what they thought a carnival is….then I would expand it to….. carnival foods…. Carnival in different countries…. Then I would assign a jam board page to each student and each had an assignment …. Like Sue is page 2, circus, Dan is page 3 foods Jill page 4 other countries etc. can I still do these types of quick activities with Fig Jam?

    Happy Friday, Michelle!
I have been a long time viewer of your teaching videos and admire you for your creativity, impressive work ethic, and your incredible organizational skills. I, too, am an elementary school teacher, and I’m constantly looking for fresh, new, and innovative ideas to make my classroom more engaging.
I am curious of what you think of the programs Canva and Genially. I have seen videos on each program from many different UA-camrs, as well as the videos you posted about the programs.
I’m just wondering, would you be interested in doing an in-depth compare and contrast/pros and cons video about the two programs? I feel that a detailed video discussing the benefits and drawbacks of each program, as well as how they similar and different to each other would help users decide on which program they should go with.
I would also be interested in your personal opinion about which program you would prefer between the two.
I do hope you will consider this idea for one of your next videos, As I would love to hear your opinion about each program, which you would choose as the superior program to teach with, and why.
Keep doing an awesome job as it is very much appreciated .
