What I find so humorous is that Ayanokoji understands what it takes to have and improve your grip strength, yet somehow doesn't know the average grip strength of a person.
Well I don't know if you have read the LN or not but. :Spoiler. Ayanokoji was raised in the White room and particularly the 4th gen of the program also known as the demon generation. His contact with other humans during childhood is almost non-existent and being raised in a loveless environment where the only time your not being observed is when taking a bath or restroom break also learning a special curriculum and his personality also adds to this. They had many grip strength test in the WR but the subjects of the WR are not at all on the level of your average HS student so not knowing the average is understandable. Basically his idea of average would only come from the WR ideally but he knows that the abilities of said person are not your average also he was in the 4th generation and because of how that gen operated he was the Last one left so human contact and knowing other humans capabilities became irrelevant at the time unless it was inside the WR.
Sudou :- "The legend that was able to trick Ayanokouji Kiyotaka..... unintentionally" 1:09 look at that chad smiling as he goes, & we all thought he was just a Stringy.
He was definitely intentionally allowing himself to be careless about revealing his physical abilities during the preparation for the sports festival, and if you’ve read LN, ESPECIALLY within the sports festival itself. In front of everyone, he outpaced the most athletic girl in the class to the point she collapsed in exhaustion. All with a straight face. SPOILER ALERT (don’t read what’s below if you don’t want spoilers): During the sports festival, he comes close to beating Manabu Horikita, student council president/fastest runner in the school in front of literally everyone. For whatever reason, he didn’t mind standing out during the festival. He just didn’t want to get too much attention for his grip strength. To be fair, he still held back a lot because the way he was wording his monologue you can assume he’s capable of 100+ KG.
I love how he is not complaining at all and even considers it as his fault, like "I should have known as knowledge the average grip strength of high school students in Japan or at least I should have analyzed sudo's personality beforehand." lol
I just rewatch the whole season 1 and I must say. Season 2 is actually more fleshed out when it comes to out look of the characters. When in season 1 it was very beautiful when they did close up with the characters, and then when it zooms out it was very less quality. Season 2 changed that . Yes the coloring is less bright, only because they are moving forward with the story and everything is getting darker and darker
From what I've seen of Ayanokoji, never saw LN or the show, he seems like a genius who purposely hides his real potential/abilities. Also I'm thinking to start watching the whe anime.

The funny thing is that the two muscles mentioned (Brachioradialis & Flexor carpi radialis) actually have nothing to do with grip strength, cuz they're responsible for elbow flexion :) Ayanokouji needs to revise his anatomy (or the author) - Source: I'm an MD
Mainly Flexor Digitorum Superficialis, and Flexor Digitorum Profundus, There are many tiny overlayered muscles in the hand and forearm, they are the mightmare of medical students and are very complicated, probably the most challenging chapter in Anatomy class :D
I thought the brachioradialis was a forearm flexor and it also is active in supenation also the muscle doesn't even cross the wrist so how does it have any involvement in moving/squeezing the fingers.
For reference over 100 kg as he implies he can do would put him higher than all recorded 16 year olds in his weight category in the world (66 kg and under). There's only a few recorded adults that scored that high (in that weight range), so it's the very top of the top. You're actually even unlikely to find 16 year olds in most schools that score 82 as Sudo did. For grip connoisseurs, that will translate to closing a captains of crush 2.5 (accounting for the usual difference compared to a dynamometer score).
