This is one of the few songs where I actually think the live version sounds a lot better than the album version. I just things it sounds better with the crowd chanting. Great stuff!
South American and European Metal fans make us look so small compared to them. They are the epitome of die hard fans. We love our metal here in North America too but those crowds in South America and Europe set the parameter for how metal fans should be all over the world.
True but it's all about the stadium. I saw Maiden at MSG, couldn't tell you how many South Americans were there just because they wanted to see Maiden in a smaller setting. Just as we (people from USA) want to see Maiden at these massive shows in Brazil, Chile, wherever...people from these same countries love seeing shows in our stadiums where the crowds aren't as huge and the atmosphere is different.
I've been listening to Iron Maiden for two years now, and this is the very first song I listened to from them. I never plan to stop listening to these guys, they are fucking awesome. UP THE IRONS FROM VIRGINIA!!! :D

This video is what made me into a lifelong Iron Maiden fan...hearing this massive crowd in South America chanting and singing along made me realize that there must be something special about a band that gets that huge of a turnout and that devoted of a fanbase...I just saw them for the first time on 07/09/2017 and I hope I can see them again next year, it was fucking amazing...

I've been to the metallica concert in zürich just yesterday and i have to admit, the crowd there was nothing compaired to what i witnessed here. When the whole crowd went 'oohh oo oo' in the refrain i instantly got goosebumps! Absolutely amazing experience it must be to see fans that dedicated. And from the feedback of the band you recognise them recognising :)

Era la navidad de 1984, tenia 15 años, me habia iniciado en el hard rock con ACDC en 1981, pero para 1982 ya escuche Iron Maiden, en ese año publicaron Powerslave, y el LP lo vi en una disquera y fue lo UNICO que pedi de regalo de navidad. Hice una colección de mas de 400 LPs de varios grupos. Hoy solo me quedaron 2 LPs. Heaven and Hell de Black Sabbath y Powerslave de Iron Maiden. Los herede a mi hija que los tiene como reliquia en su habitación. Desde que escuche Still Life me conecte con Iron Maiden. Tengo 52 años y el gusto por el Heavy ya va por los 41 años de vigencia. Morire con el heavy en mi mente. Grandiosos Iron Maiden.
2016 I saw Maiden in Scandinavia on their world tour. Great show but lame audience. When i came home i was just a click away to confirm my flight ticket to Rio when it hitt me, what about the ticket!. Could not find a website who could confirm a ticket to the show in Rio. Had to cancel my flight:( No way I fly across the world for a "maybe i get in". Time is running out but I really want to see Maiden live in South America. Rio is the first option:)

Saw them on the Book of Souls in Trieste this year - wonderful location, the Mediterranean not even 100 meters behind the crowd, the ocean breeze blowing gently on our backs... but the best Maiden concert is always the next Maiden concert ^^So stoked to see them in 2017 again.

Era la navidad de 1984, tenia 15 años, me habia iniciado en el hard rock con ACDC en 1981, pero para 1982 ya escuche Iron Maiden, en ese año publicaron Powerslave, y el LP lo vi en una disquera y fue lo UNICO que pedi de regalo de navidad. Hice una colección de mas de 400 LPs de varios grupos. Hoy solo me quedaron 2 LPs. Heaven and Hell de Black Sabbath y Powerslave de Iron Maiden. Los herede a mi hija que los tiene como reliquia en su habitación. Desde que escuche Still Life me conecte con Iron Maiden. Tengo 52 años y el gusto por el Heavy ya va por los 41 años de vigencia. Morire con el heavy en mi mente. Grandiosos Iron Maiden.
Escuchando Iron Maiden desde 1982, ahora tengo 50 años y sigue sonando bien !

2016 I saw Maiden in Scandinavia on their world tour. Great show but lame audience.
When i came home i was just a click away to confirm my flight ticket to Rio when it hitt me, what about the ticket!. Could not find a website who could confirm a ticket to the show in Rio.
Had to cancel my flight:( No way I fly across the world for a "maybe i get in".
Time is running out but I really want to see Maiden live in South America. Rio is the first option:)

I’m Brazilian and have been to 3 IM concerts in the USA. I must’ve watched every video on UA-cam of their concerts. The Argentineans n Chileans crowds come off as the best to me.

I saw Maiden in August for the first time. Best, clearest sounding concert I've ever been to. And I've been to a few. Even backstage. Maiden sounds the best. 👍👍

Saw them on the Book of Souls in Trieste this year - wonderful location, the Mediterranean not even 100 meters behind the crowd, the ocean breeze blowing gently on our backs... but the best Maiden concert is always the next Maiden concert ^^So stoked to see them in 2017 again.
