Professor Rudolph Ware, also known as Butchware on social media, speaks about his upbringing and how reading the autobiography of Malcolm X inspired him.
He shares his thoughts on how he believes Malcolm X would have responded to the 7 October attacks, the important legacy and “moral obligation” to resist colonialism and how that applies to Palestinians.
Professor Ware explains how ‘exemplary violence’ was used to dehumanise slaves and how it is being applied by Israel in Palestine right now, while “liberal” media and “liberal” powers provide cover.
He also speaks about white supremacy. He criticises people who are platforming Candace Owens on Palestine as “hurtful” to the black community and damaging to fostering true solidarity. He pulls no punches. Shaun King, LeBron James, Colin Kaepernick, Trevor Noah and the “crocodile tears” that are used to justify the spilling of the blood of brown and black people all come under the microscope.

@@tedmusson5179 Are you sure? There was no "palestinian people" in 1921. In fact, it was the British Mandate the power in charge. Only J's called themselves palestinians. So the oppressors were the british and the oppressed the j's.
As a white Englishman, as a cockney who has been the subject of class suppression all my life, I have to express my view that what Professor Ware is saying is about the path of sanity to a peaceful future. I would just say that whilst I agree that black people "know this story" there are white people who also know the story just as there are Jews protesting against Zionism. All I am trying to say is that this is about those of us who respect humanity and those of us who do not. It has nothing to do with skin colour, religion, culture or passport; it has everything to do with the human experience inside all of us. There are those against us and we need to make sure we stand together against them.

I am at 28 mins into this video and Professor Ware is now on my key reading list.
World domination and control, and all that comes with that, emanates from a specific part of the world. It has done so for 500 years and counting. If it is within all of us to be this way, why aren't others engaging in it? "We" the global South, just want to be left alone. World domination is not out bag.
This is a testament of the western society, and so-called western "values". Its exposing the ruling class as being very classist and racist (supported by a huge voting majority).

The people waging these massacres (uS, isr, uk, Ger.. leaders) have been in power in their respective countries for decades, and their violent policies have been gaining favour for many years. They keep on being voted back - even after they go against their own people. Unless its through voodoo, the same "ordinary" citizens chose these war mongers.

This is one of the most heavy duty, intelligent interviews I've seen in a very long time. Professor Ware' s depth and historical breadth is absolutely impressive. I see a lot of the late Dr Amos Wilson in him in that they both possess the gift of being able to critically analyze apply history and human behavior to "see" whats approaching ahead of the curve. The best example of this is the non-existent civil rights struggles. Civil is what you do when you dont get along with your In-laws and have thanksgiving dinner. It was a human rights struggle. Civil rights makes it seems not as bad as it was.

Great interview with an impressive scholar and activist
It's telling that at the heart of white supremacist empire, in the British Isles, you would be arrested as a terrorist for singing Irish resistance songs until very recently. The Scottish and Irish resistance songs hold the history of those people, and they have a strong history of resistance. English resistance songs have been all but lost. The English have lost their tradition of resistance. The US tradition is to take the art of resistance and turns it into commercialised pieces of social engineering.

Always, the stories we are encouraged to consume by empire are engineered toward atomisation: gangster rap, isolating sexual practices, and ultimately battle cries to praise the oppressor and fight those designated as the problem 'other'.

Just listened to this with family. It's amazing how triggering the phrase 'white supremacy' can be for white folk. Like they are personally being accused of somthing. Humph. Some yelling later and I still don't know what phrase would better suit their sensitivities.

I'm not exactly having much luck with the people I've been trying to organize with, in a small Sundown Town in Wisconsin.
We can do Murual Aid, to a point, and it's important.
But...the limit is there as a barrier for all who have liberal comfort they want to save...status quo comes back to prevent Revolutionary praxis.
We're a homeless couple, they won't even support us as actual equals to do just basic solid ideas to get things right for once.
Whatever they can't do, my partner & I will carry on regardless.

BLM is a liberal organization and not an anti- imperialist organization .
South Africa was not liberated from Apartheid due to student protests. It was through arm struggle and would have continued had it not been for military assistance to Azania from Cuba at Cuito Cuanavale.
Many students protest have a narrative of ceasefire when the objective should be to assist Hamas and the resistance like USA did for Ukraine

I was a teenager when Malcolm X was assassinated, he and his message was a threat to multiple groups of authorities at that time. It is good to see that his spirit and message still stand!
Fascinating! Informative & humbling, too. I despise REAL antisem1tis-um & have ridiculous amounts of receipts of my reverence for the religion, but the crash course in Zio-niz-um since 10/7 has really reawakened a dormant revolutionary spirit in me & changed my mind on 🇮🇱since I knew NOTHING but the passive Hasbara talking points the 🇺🇸feeds us about it b4. The “Manufacturing Consent” aspect of the “systematic raype”/“screams w/o words” NYT story was the final nail in the coffin of my support for 🇮🇱, which was hanging by a string by then anyway. I fell for the be-head-ed baby stuff ~10/8, but by the time that post-Xmas propaganda piece came out, the desperate attempt to rile us up over violation of 🇮🇱 wyt women was SO overtly from the Jim Crow lynching type of playbook, I was done. They’re grasping at straws w/their destroyed Hasbara PR, but the body count continues to rise & the degree of atrocities keeps getting EVEN worse & making my jaw drop EVEN further to the floor. Mass grave of medical workers targeted, tortured & bur-ed alive!!!!????? What in the sadistic F???? Enough’s enough. 15K children (+ stillborns & miscarriages) vs. 🇮🇱’s 1,200 💀total. The “self-defense” pretext is laughable at this point. But tragic….As is the pretext of pretending to give a F-ck about the remaining 🇮🇱hostages & “not stopping til we fully eradicate hUM-moss” (aka NEVER). Gen-oh-syde.

This was a great talk. I learned. As a white dude I used to be racist. It wasn't until I got completely honest with myself and explored the question: what if you were raised in their environment. How would one express themselves? What would be the expression if white people went through what they did and how they did? Then I began to shed the shackles of ignorance.

I'm really impressed with this professor, the only point I slightly disagree with is about brother shaun King, no matter what someone's past once a brother or sister reverts to Islam then he or she should only be judged by there actions after that and as the professor said himself us Muslims have to fight our own naffs totally agree with everything else

I also could not believe this group of compassionate people voiced support for what was being done in Gaza while with the next breath claiming love for all sentient beings.
