@@jerobasangan3386nope, almost every gacha end game content is just a HP and Damage Amp at it's core, they just don't have 5 different tags each increasing HP by 50-100-150-200-1000% each, usually if they have tags, they only have one increase HP and not a frickin collection :v
Like, for example, imagine Genshin Abyss has a stage of pure water surface (no underwater) and enemies have a mini aura of ice that give then footing, it would force you to use certain characters and it's cheap to force you to do that when you want to use what you want, true, but it's something you can adjust to and strategy about, unlike giving mobs 100% more HP and the possibility of OHKO you in one or two hits, the mobs would not have more stats, they just have the environmental advantage.

I remember that one video about the guy that started playing at 8 pm in this new game mode. He's still playing at 11 pm not because of the difficulty, but because of the enemy refusing to die. I've never played in this CC game mode since I started playing around the time CC12 released but I can tell that they didn't playtest this.
I'm a new player, my plan was simple: pull Goldenglow from the event banner and then do the bare minimum to get some resources
I tried fiddling around with this and noped out after 1 day. Thank you AK but I will wait for the next event

It's better if you ignore this event or only do one tag at a time, since this gamemode is way too hard that even me, an almost 4 year player with lots of built characters, struggled in this gamemode. Its a pity that you havent experienced the previous version of CC, literally the most fun i have playing arknights

that's the right way to think about it. New players will never be able to beat or 100% events most of the time, especially anniversary events (events that has normal, Ex, and S stages) sso just take your time, build your account and wait for hte next event :D

the scrolling 'quite a bit' is a major inconvienence when trying to show someone else what risk you took. I've seen a few guide makers takes on trying to handle this but its a problem.
personally when going for the 100 in all categories achievement I had to peck and remove risks because they weren't sorted in any way to make it easy to find risks by category. Oh, yeah 'don't actually do anything' maybe if they were logical in some way I could have found them using logic.
I consider the main stage HP bloat an issue, but not an issue with POO, its an unrelated issue with level design, which could be moved to chapter 12 boss and his 5 different invulnerability phases you just have to sit thru. I got risk 600 without dealing with 4 million HP robots (using a guide)
the reason you get the 4 million HP robots is the UI is...not good.
so yes, I fully agree the UI is not good, and theres a problem with the base map Level design. but the base map level design is not an issue with POO.

The real question is why global has to repeat all the mistakes CN had, HG just no brain copypastes everything to global without actually fixing any of the criticisms they receive from community, you could probably make an entire video on that topic alone.
Edit: like, I think whats going on CN rn is that they just BROUGHT BACK CC but made the shop awfully bad, and when they recieved the backlash from community they put out a hotfix that made some changes to the shop. Will we just get that CC as it was on release and if community doesn't react just never get a fix for it? Will we still get a hotfix after a delay like it was on CN? Will we just get the new CC already with that fix implemented? I'm so confused.
Because if that happens, then CN will complain about their server becoming a test server for global.

nah that's a terrible idea. i agree that things should get fixed but giving one server an experimental version of a game mode and then another server a fixed version is ridiculous. the entire CN community would go haywire if they found that out
@@allegro6104 that happened with Blue Archive and they're doing great. Blue Archive JP is the wild west but community feedback is good because at least the devs actually care about their community. Only drama with BA is the censorship and poor/dumbass translations for the away servers.
if CN endured it, then so does Global now and then TW later. It makes sense, we just need to wait for them to actually nerf Battleplan #1 (Pyrolysis) or Battleplan #2
The main map aside I totally fell in love with the other one.
Except Yato alter and Texalter and maybe SA my operators aren't meta and I'm kinda braindead to begin with which made the side map much more enjoyable than all the CCs I've played.
I think the fact that a buff or two were given to you made things much more fun. I could use my SA as fast redeploy and have Hellagur deal with the crocs. It made me pull out my Dorothy which was collecting dust and most importantly it made me change my strategy (consisting of stalling with mudmud and Saria) completely useless.
Agreed the ui design was terrible and the difficulty wasn't really mechanically interesting. Got my 600 medal before the "daily" maps unlocked but it was pretty much brute force with level 90 units.
The first rotating map with the single deploy risk was fun though.
I like two things about Pinch Out. We got a Robot and that one operator at a time side stage was fire. My main problem with CC and especially Pinch Out was how often it feels like a stat stick. It doesn't feel good to get bludgeoned to death by numbers. I like good maps that mix up brain things. Operator class dp increases, enemy additions, map changes, and fun things like the 1-p relay risk are interesting with only a few stat redistributions to place importance on an area/enemy/style.
Like, I love the smaller challenge like that 1 with 1 deployment limit, but the main stage is just outrageous with the amount of timing and ops you actually need to actually reach 600.
I disagree about timing - I cleared it mostly on x2 speed without any timing being involved.
This is however following a guide for 600 points clear, and you would need to have either Skalter or Mlynar for this.
I didn't even realise first that Dorothy didn't lose you life when going to the blue box unless you pick up one particular node...
Timing and operators needed are not really the problem, for everyone that played for a few months, the problem was how long it took to clear. My highest clear took around 90 minutes of Ifrit burning away ...

Re-iterating, majority of good 600 points clears are less than 10 min. I've seen one even at around 5 min.

I spent 50 minutes waiting for surtr, ifrit, mlynar, texalt and lin to kill the last 3 robots
I've already spent 2 hours and those three bastards are still alive. I didn't know it'll take so much time and I have Mlynar, Nearl and Lappland in here. I don't know should I skip and take another ops or just move forward.
@@NazguLMC My tip is to take 2 defenders and when the 2 robots appear on top and 1 on the side, you take out the 1st defender and wait for the 3 robots to stay in the same place and then you place the 2nd defender so that iflit and surtr can hit all 3 at the same time.
Honestly, I've really enjoyed the daily maps. And the main map and risks are intriguing, but the truly bloated tags (like 1000% HP) or auto-firing rocket bots wiping the screen unless you use very specific ops ruin it.
I did the 300 sanctuary points challenge and it was absolutely horrendous how long it took to kill those rocket guys, even longer than annihilation. The part that blew my mind was they set another challenge for 540 points and I knew something was wrong with this event.
If you wonder how bad this event is there's a 8 hours clear video in Bilibili. That show how bad it is. At least the new CC season 2 a bit easier than this, still have bad ui and bad reward but we're not dealing with 3M hp enemies
That's barely an absolution of this dog shit POO genealogy. Out of the 3 things you listed, the only thing that actually got fixed was the laziest most effortless one. 3mil or 300 HP is but a simple press on the keyboard. Changing the UI and reward shop back to normal (grinds my gears to even acknowledge this, that fixing it would just put it back to baseline, normal. Not BETTER, just baseline) would have actually taken work. HG has finally worn out my patience.

The event is cheap because ut doesn't do anything other than increasing HP and DMG, they don't give the mobs SPD increase, more Block Count, More Range and overall more stuff.
Imagine having a horde of Guerrilla Tanks giving your OPs global range so they are forced to attack them across the map while Dogs go to the blue box, imagine said Dogs split on death like in R6S event while other mobs split like in Lin event. Imagine a new mob that grabs other mobs and throw them across the map at set locations, said mob can be given a risk that makes them grab the boss of the stage and throw them like 3 squares from the blue box, what about a mob with a shield that makes the attack it receives to bounce around your allies like how Andoain special AA works, a special stage that change the location of the blue box at set intervals, a city like stage where there is a "Rush Hour" where a train comes in the middle of the stage to drop like 20-30 mobs all together, a jungle like stage where various things happen at random times, a tremor that briefly stuns your OPs, a rain that makes the mobs slippery so they not only move faster but some even clash with corners and get stunned while others cannot be blocked while it rains, an animal stampede similar to how Talulah's fire ball wave works, a landslide changing the terrain and the mobs path to the blue box, a stage with a giant claw machine that grabs your OPs and can even drop them on top of other OPs, forcing the retreat of the OP below while making the grabbed OP take that position (yes, even if the OP is melee and the retrated OP is ranged), a stage where your OPs cannot attack mobs of their same race, a stage where the boss spawns first and chooses which OP you would deploy first and even the order at which you deploy your team, a stage with a game master that lights up tiles on the map where you need to place your OPs or they instantly die, a blackout stage where there are machines that light up the whole stage only when a Mechanic or Lighting based OP hits them, a holographic stage that just change the stage as a whole at intervals while another stage makes you see the past, present and future version of the stage with it's respective mobs changing alternatively.
Lack of creativity doesn't exist, only lazyness.
I really dont underatand why they replaced cc with this, its pretty much the same thing. It follows the exact same structure cc did: You pick your own difficulty, high risk is challenging (though in po you just afk for an hour) and the best part about it are the dailys. This "new" mode is just cc but way worse.
It actually expands the width of the difficulty,meaning you can take more challenges at once and you would still be squarely in the easy side.
It also gives you direct rewards for each challenge you complete first time,but also forces you to consider which path to take when considering each challenge,meaning you can't just select the one challenge and be free from all consquences.
And with the second time limited test plate out,the stall method no longer needs to be done.
The only problem this mode for me is how risk works for example if im just want 50% atk for da enemies but im have to activate the other 10% atk first in order just activite the risk that im want😫
Honestly, I want a another content creator like Supah who's always being critical to developers but in another game, like FGO. That thing is riddled with out of date QoL, because there's always majority of players who defended Lasengle.

"2. it ends, 3. it is not reclamation algorythm" are the only two good things about pinch out. I don't even like the end screen UI and hell I miss the CC banger songs. I used to just listen to them while choosing my risks until I forgot about starting the mission or why I'm even there, so good were the bangers. Pinch out reminds me of how much I can hate. And that's it.

To be honest my college degraded monke brain logged in and saw this event and didnt play it for 3 days then just monke brained the stages without reading shit, randomly selecting difficulties then trying again but the Water lily pad stage actually got some braincells running.
Best part of the event was when they released IS3 expansion pack so people didnt drop the game

im no smart and often use guide for most cc but just after trying out PO-op barely to get mech infused char aznable, i easily point out that the only strategy here is only brute force and stat stonks. how? because i dont have mlynar, chelter or whatever balans there is
I got to 600 with the help of Gummy s2. Turns out, having her tank then become the best ST healer while Mlynar schwimg schwing is really good

I miss old CC. For the first time in almost four years I got burn out. Pinch Out is first event that I almost fully ignored - I tried it on day 1 and dropped it. I NEVER thought that such thing will happen to me.

I adjusted stuff to get inescapable dream challenge twice and didnt' get everything it wanted, so then I gave up. I could have googled it or just check a bunch more of the surrounding boxes but I was like fk this shit im out. I didn't play this event much. I did a couple of the daily maps because getting the challenges for those wasn't too difficult and ofc got the free robot/skin. I just didn't have time to spend over an hour on a 600 stall strat or learning some other guide off youtube
Recently i have been getting into guilty gear music, and I discovered that one of the tracks is called "the ship". It is now my favourite guilty gear soundtrack, 7 places above the Circle.
As for pinch out, my experience with the mode was sitting through the tutorial because i misclicked trying to get into stultifera navis, and wondering if its worth stealing the penance 1op clear from i think blemichi to get stuff from the shop. So far the answer is no.

As a player who joined after CC 12, this small event is a fresh experience for me. I do Training Grounds but that's just a teaser.
Selecting of the tiles can be a little messy, but you can quick select from the challenge interface, or for me, just click the symbols according while having guide video paused.
As for stat stick enemies, I believe it's not necessary to select those specific tiles for medals? I've seen clears without stalling and with low rarity with support, so all these complaints might be from people brute-forcing 600 on early days? Well, I follow Kyostinv's guides and he said to wait for tiles to unlock for easier clear. Hopefully. 🙏 So far no issue with my E1 pleb team with support unit (just recently got E2 Eyja and Mountain but no chance to deploy yet)
I do like the new ability to pick tags from the back by unlocking the Test Plates. Incrementally earning your shortcuts and using those to springboard you to better tags in the back without having to take the worthless front ones is the basic fundamentals of video game dopamine hits. Too bad this one actual innovation is mired in 10 layers of new shit and old regressions.

also those stupid points with different symbols means you have to check every block to get the 100 in each symbol mission because two of them max out just above 100 if you pick everything
Too many nodes are just stat changes, and when you select a lot of them, especially HP for enemies + attack down for you, enemy EHP becomes stupid.
It doesn't really make a stage any harder past a certain point when you can block all enemies, just way more annoying to clear.
Sitting here for almost 2 HOURS while I wait for a couple of robots to die is defiantly not my definition of fun. Found out Unlimited Duration skills are not unlimited and do infact need to be reset eventually, and despite using Mlynar "Delete button" Nearl, it made me feel like I was using a level 1 unit jfc. I didn't even do 600, I did the 500 something, so if I want the metal my dumbass is going to have to sit there for another 2 hours occasionally clicking a button!
I did a stall 600 point run using the extra R-11 power armor and I had to sit there for like 2 hours spamming skills. Worst time I ever had in this game.
With some tweaking to the interface and more interesting map/"Risks" this game mode could have been god tier

I didn't like Reckanation Algorythm either, but I could just turn my brain off and spam attempts till I got a base to work with. The last 2-3 days were actually somewhat fun, as my base did it almost alone.

Honestly I was a little startled people weren't just ousting through this. But I didn't really feel the need to complete the medals and stage. Feels weird because something like reclamation algorythm you could at least see being a long-term kinda stage like IS but because it's limited time why would you grind it. It's just challenge stages so it's not really a bad thing, people can use it to break or whatever.

As a one month old player I found this pretty fun. Not so much the main map which suffered from HP and damage bloat (no way I'm getting the 540 points) but the side maps had really cool gimmicks and challenges, which for someone who's been stuck in the boring Chapter 5-6-7 maps, were very enjoyable.
The UI is kind of confusing though, I have to agree, but overall I like this gamemode more than the current CC.
The only reason I max out my gummy she can mathematically stun lock enemy if you give her enough attack speed.
Tbh, I enjoy the side map than the main map :)

Leaving this comment because i left a different comment on a different video about the 50 morbillion hp robot in pinch out and this was at the top of my home page when i refreshed.
Literally opened the event screen the day it launched, saw the ui, closed it, and haven't opened it again since. I'm fairly certain I could get the medals but this event just creates a feeling of apathy from me. Maybe I'll feel up to bothering with it in a few days
personally I didn't mind the UI much, just remove the whole jojo stand power ranking shit and the challenge that took me 10 mins to understand what I was meant to do and another 20 to find the right tags to reach the points required. also that map was boring, but its not like every CC map was a banger, it happens
yeah i agree the pinch out is rly hard to atleast get the medal... its safe to assume that the 600 here is equal to r18, and oh boy its rly hard to do that 600 points clr, unlike r18 which is like possible right of the bat...
although i kinda like the ui, i agree how messy it is, if they somehow keep it while making it more... orderly then that will be good, but if not i must say just go back to old format when picking risks

Building a base and funneling mooks into your own Saw movie set would have been good, if building and farming wasn't so fking tedious. I've always loved building death traps in games. This just took the building and made THAT the trap and ME the unsuspecting sucker instead.
