You'll notice when you check my co-hosts' videos that I totally screwed up the schedule for posting! Guess that's what happens when you don't post any videos for six weeks. 😅 Anyway, here's the correct scheduled copied and pasted from Jason's video, which I'll also add to the description: 9/3/2022: All's Well That Ends Well 9/10/2022: Coriolanus 9/17/2022: A Midsummer Night's Dream 9/24/2022: Jason (sonnets 12 and 120), Lukas (sonnets 20 and 98), Rainey (sonnets 103 and 117)
Yay! I will be reading A Midsummer Night's Dream, the 6 sonnets, 3 plays of my choosing, and some nonfiction including the introduction and pertinent chapters from the Norton Shakespeare, Shakespeare After All, and others.
All’s Well that Ends Well again?!? Haven’t read A Midsummer Night’s Dream in a long time, so that should be fun. Coriolanus is most interesting to me as a contrast to the other “soldiers” like Macbeth, Othello, and Antony. Hope this is a fun event for everyone, Lukas! Cheers, Jack
September will be a busy month for me but I figure I can at least read the sonnets. I really like All’s Well that Ends Well, Coriolanus I think I liked more than expected and Midsummer grows on me every time.
I'm in for Shaketember. Excited to read "Coriolanus" as it's decades since I last read it. My house groans under the weight of Shakespeare editions, but I have worn out my Riverside Shakespeare so I a new door on the way, I like to use the Arden, and Everyman editions too, but for September it will be Riverside. I think it's a great idea to read some Sonnets.
