Lucas, so nice to see you on Booktube, even if it’s just one video. Although, of course, I’m always hoping that you will come back when you’re ready. Thanks for doing our tag! 💛
Thank you for creating ShakeTube/Shaketember! I learnt a lot when I joined last year - I read All's Well last year because of Shaktember and had the chance to watch a RSC production too! The documentary film sounds very interesting. Thanks for sharing (and all the answers)!
Well this was an unexpected treat! Welcome back, if only for one video Lucas! I love All’s Well That Ends Well too- and I am not a Shakespeare aficionado- I was lucky enough to see it performed a few years ago and there is so much in it, no wonder it’s not always known how to classify it. I think the only time I’ve cried at Shakespeare was at the end of Anthony Hopkins film portrayal of King Lear and I find most of Shakespeare’s villains manage to engage our sympathy, however small, in some way, even Richard III!
Your coming in to do this particular tag via Jason’s invite specifically for Skaketember was like a visit from a long lost brother who always could tell a great story. Love the wonderful reflections in your responses. See you at our usual weekly forum, Lukas 🙂
