All bands will always (venue size depending) go through pa. , usually double mic each guitarists cab and sometimes even a wet and dry DI line depending on pedal board/ fx etc.
Is it a rock band or a corporation? It seems every band is modeled after the Eagles nowadays. Styx did a great job with The Mission though! At least they put out some new music every decade or so.
