- 1900+ Crank Horsepower! Twin 88s, a viper motor and giant tires makes for one BADASS Dodge pickup! We fell in love with this thing the instant we heard it drive by, and for good reason! The guys over at JMB put together this MONSTER of a truck that breaks into the 7-second territory on one of it’s first passes down the track at Drag Week test and tune! The fabrication work on this pickup is a piece of art!

and people ate talking about that 7 second gtr, its awd and much more areodynamic and a pickup truck with the stock block is running in the 7s, high 7s, sure but still. and once he gets the launch down he could probably beat the gtr. and to me it seems like this thing has more in it, lots more
Plus man this truck drove hundreds of thousands of miles through cities, rain, potholes and snarled traffic to the track towing a 10k pound trailer. The gtr did not even drive onto the enclosed temperature, air pressure and humidity controlled trailer.

so much more is capable from it, Hefner performance built an 1,800 hp twin turbo viper, at the time it was the world's most powerful street legal stock transmission car back in the mid 2,000's. I believe he said this engine is the stock engine for the truck. If he swapped out lots of the internals and stuff this could be a 3,000 hp vehicle.

Yeah sounded like it was hitting closer to 7600rpm when most viper V10s don’t go over 6k

I'm not much on these SRT-10's, but this thing is frickin sweet! A big ass truck running 7 second 1/4 mile passes? You can't NOT like that.
Nothing about it is the srt-10 anymore. except maybe the body paels and the engne block itself

@@jackmagnium6115 When they came out in the early 90's one of the big write ups in Car and Driver and Road and Track Magazine was the exhaust note. Which the claimed it sounded like a UPS truck. Lol. One of my friends has a GTS now it's around a 2003 model. it's alright, I'm just not too impressed with them, Some people love them some don't.
I'm not into trucks, but this thing is cool. I hope you guys cover this truck more.

+Sai Namuduri they are about 700 hp away from a 6.99 or so. Assuming since he said it was an all steel truck it is still a very heavy truck. Don't believe it? Crunch the number in the wallace calculator, and even then that is being generous.
pitsnake2 dude. wallace is SO inaccurate - and it definitely doesn't account for altitude, temperature, humidity, or traction.
pitsnake2 also, it's not about the engine's actual power. It's about how much power you can put DOWN to the ground. With optimal conditions, they could definitely pull off at least a low 7-second run.

I'm actually really good friends with the guy that owns this beast. He lives about 10 minutes from me its so insane making street pulls in this truck. He also owns a demon and some other stupid fast vehicles.

+TinKnocka420 No it is water spillage. The Air over water intercooler is in the cab. It is kept cool by a tank and pump in the back of the truck that they fill with ice and water.

Anyone know if this is a reworked version of the single turbo truck that was running 9s? Either way, fantastic job by JMB. I'm a SRT owner myself and the progress folks have made with our trucks over the past year (JMB, A&C, Greg Goode etc.) has been insane!

put some lead ingots in the frame in the back so you can get that launch to have more grip lol
yaaas! old school trick, ppl used to do that on the Plymouth 'cuda to help off the line bc short leaf springs & rear overhang compared to say a superbee or roadrunner..couple hundred lbs of lead out back stuffed in/near the sub-frames, strip weight off elsewhere.

Why is there no fan just the air filter things im still learning but i thought the fan helped keep the engine cool if you have the turbos and an innercooling system thing do you no longer need the fan
