Notable to mention (haven't watched all the way through so I dunno if you mention it) but don't forget that Hamlin actually failed pre race inspection twice and lost pit selection as a result. So the car was already borderline in some way before the start that they just managed to squeak through

I have heard that there was added material to the nose cone to alter the airflow. If that's the case, that would fall under the "no altering a single source part" rules. This could be a massive penalty for JGR.

DISQUALIFIED, how or what was done! ps air flow around the car ( ok in 1985 bill E chase's dad car in 1985 the top of car like side lines like the top air flow improvement = ok in 1985 after this race car temp-let measures were changed the next year what he do in 1985 it was on track speed ok on a lap Bill E had a broken oil fitting leaking oil he pitted, it fixed & lost 2 laps on a 2.6 mile track = over 5 miles behind every one he's drives on the track put his right foot to floor board & ran all the cars down passed all the cars 3 times around the track and won the race! oh with no cautions at all strait flat out ran the field of cars lapped them 3 times he was on 2 and 1/2 lap down when he came on the track, ( ok rules & NASCAR inspection tore engine down & checked car temp-lets & was left scratching there heads its legal) ps i think he stopped for gas well doing that mad dash to un lap himself over 2 times & win it was like a 500 mile race! all other cars stopped to! i saw booty barker he said bill had 8 cylinders and rest were on 4 that day he was that much faster then the field of cars!
I love how my favorite NASCAR driver won the race at my home track while leading 0 laps. I also love how Chastain still finished ahead of Hamlin! This was hilarious 😂! More importantly, hope Kurt Busch and Josef Newgarden both have a quick and speedy recovery. Hope they can race at the Indy Road Course next weekend.
As a Harvick fan this is an absolute killer. The car is definitely coming around and he had a serious shot today, thinking about where he restarted and where he was when he got taken out by Chastains wreck I really honestly think he would’ve finished top 3 and won the race if he doesn’t get collected by Chastain.
Well then ask Hamlin to not cause a wreck. Chastain wins the race easy without Hamlin wrecking him. The three fastest cars were clearly the 18, 11, and the 1. And only the 1, so far, didn’t cheat.
Kevin needs to teach the 11 a lesson. Denny bs is getting old. NASCAR needs to check the cars better in pre race inspection. Also nascar should not try to hide the infraction. Take a camera in and let us the public see everything. All questions need to be answered.
As all the haulers were leaving the raceway this evening, doing a final lap around the Pocono track, all but Denny Hamlin's honked and flickered their lights to the infield RV and Camping guests. Must be sad when you don't have the supposed winning car in the back of your trailer. Disappointing.
As a Kyle Busch fan and finally seeing my guy have a good run, especially seeing it in person makes it even more frustrating. Cheating is cheating and obviously they should be punished if they did, but I want to know what the front facia is and how it gave them an aero advantage. Would be great if nascar made videos on how these violations actually affect the car in a race but they likely will never do that knowing nascar.

Wasn't found in prerace because they have certain areas of the car wrapped going through prerace inspection. So they evidently they haven't been checking that on any cars, before the race
The whole car is wrapped. I ve wrapped trailers n boats in the past. If your a trained inspector you would of seen it. That wrap gets tight around stuff

Man Denny Hamlin and Kyle Busch both seem so feed up with NASCAR before this happened..makes me wonder if they’ll both throw their hands up and say “ F*#%k it”
So a couple points to look at. 1, for as black and white as this seems how in the world did both the 11 and 18 think they’d get away with this especially with how fast they were all weekend which leads me to believe the 19 and 20 didn’t have this same alteration if you want to call it that since they weren’t the fastest along with the 23 and 45. 2, I feel as this is taking too much attention away from Kurt and the safety of this next gen car, I wish nascar released some sort of statement on what they’ll do next from this point on considering drivers have been complaining about more headaches and longer recovery time. 3, with this playoff system loss of points could mean absolutely nothing since all you have to do is win and your in. If Brad can win within these next few races then even with his big penalty he can still easily race for a championship so I wouldn’t be too upset if I were Hamlin or Busch but from the earnings side of it yeah I’d be upset.
I really enjoyed watching the race even though Ryan Blaney had a tough day. The disqualification is such a shame as it just pulls the rug on all the great on-track action. They may as well have said the race just doesn’t count. There will need to be a definitive explanation as to what happened or fans will lose some faith in the sport.
Why? They've already said that material was added to the front valance (bumper) in an area not permitted to be modified. It's a similar circumstance to the waffle stamped area of the composite Xfinity bodies. If they elaborate on the details cool, if not, I already understand what the basis of the problem was.
RFK has had to run honest rides after being made an example of... that's why they won both daytona qualifiers and now run 15th to 20th every week. Surprised to see find something on the JGR rides. Don't worry Chase fans, they don't look hard at the hendrick cars.
I mean they did dq Johnson from 2nd place in 2020 in the Coke 600, and Elliott got dqed in Nashville last year, albeit for missing lug nuts, which actually hurt his car there, so HMS does have their share of dqs since 2019.

I am really tired of nascar changing rules on the fly, day by day, just so they can keep JGR out of a championship opportunity! They were talking to Ross at the Chevy stage prior to the race and a fan asked a question about favorite win and he talked about Iowa when he go DQ'd and he said he still has the trophy from that race.

If Hamlin hadn't knocked the kid into Harvick, Kevin had a strong chace of winning. He was running much better then Chase. If I was Kevin I would be kmocking Hamlin out sometime in the chase.

You know you're hot when you don't lead a single lap and still win the race. He fought hard to get to third and as Kyle Busch knows things happen and you get a win you really didn't deserve. Go Chase. I think this kinda solidifies the season championship anyway with Chase being 107 points ahead.

@@bw-leftturnracing7779 As I expected, it was something so blatant that it would be a violation JGR just going to accept the loss. It seemed clear by Nascar that tampering with these cars in many areas is literally a clear line but JGR decided to try and get away with it anyways.
Not saying other teams don't find the grey lines but this one seemed super stupid to try considering its wasn't even close to a grey line lol

DISQUALIFIED, how or what was done! ps air flow around the car ( ok in 1985 bill E chase's dad car in 1985 the top of car like side lines like the top air flow improvement = ok in 1985 after this race car temp-let measures were changed the next year what he do in 1985 it was on track speed ok on a lap Bill E had a broken oil fitting leaking oil he pitted, it fixed & lost 2 laps on a 2.6 mile track = over 5 miles behind every one he's drives on the track put his right foot to floor board & ran all the cars down passed all the cars 3 times around the track and won the race! oh with no cautions at all strait flat out ran the field of cars lapped them 3 times he was on 2 and 1/2 lap down when he came on the track, ( ok rules & NASCAR inspection tore engine down & checked car temp-lets & was left scratching there heads its legal) ps i think he stopped for gas well doing that mad dash to un lap himself over 2 times & win it was like a 500 mile race! all other cars stopped to! i saw booty barker he said bill had 8 cylinders and rest were on 4 that day he was that much faster then the field of cars!
I love how my favorite NASCAR driver won the race at my home track while leading 0 laps. I also love how Chastain still finished ahead of Hamlin! This was hilarious 😂!
More importantly, hope Kurt Busch and Josef Newgarden both have a quick and speedy recovery. Hope they can race at the Indy Road Course next weekend.

As a Harvick fan this is an absolute killer. The car is definitely coming around and he had a serious shot today, thinking about where he restarted and where he was when he got taken out by Chastains wreck I really honestly think he would’ve finished top 3 and won the race if he doesn’t get collected by Chastain.
Well then ask Hamlin to not cause a wreck. Chastain wins the race easy without Hamlin wrecking him. The three fastest cars were clearly the 18, 11, and the 1. And only the 1, so far, didn’t cheat.
Kevin needs to teach the 11 a lesson. Denny bs is getting old. NASCAR needs to check the cars better in pre race inspection. Also nascar should not try to hide the infraction. Take a camera in and let us the public see everything. All questions need to be answered.

As all the haulers were leaving the raceway this evening, doing a final lap around the Pocono track, all but Denny Hamlin's honked and flickered their lights to the infield RV and Camping guests. Must be sad when you don't have the supposed winning car in the back of your trailer. Disappointing.
As a Kyle Busch fan and finally seeing my guy have a good run, especially seeing it in person makes it even more frustrating. Cheating is cheating and obviously they should be punished if they did, but I want to know what the front facia is and how it gave them an aero advantage. Would be great if nascar made videos on how these violations actually affect the car in a race but they likely will never do that knowing nascar.

Wasn't found in prerace because they have certain areas of the car wrapped going through prerace inspection. So they evidently they haven't been checking that on any cars, before the race
The whole car is wrapped. I ve wrapped trailers n boats in the past. If your a trained inspector you would of seen it. That wrap gets tight around stuff
As for Hamlin getting his "payback" on a restart, all the cars are bunched, he could have wiped out the ENTIRE FIELD! Worse yet could have killed someone.

Man Denny Hamlin and Kyle Busch both seem so feed up with NASCAR before this happened..makes me wonder if they’ll both throw their hands up and say “ F*#%k it”
So a couple points to look at. 1, for as black and white as this seems how in the world did both the 11 and 18 think they’d get away with this especially with how fast they were all weekend which leads me to believe the 19 and 20 didn’t have this same alteration if you want to call it that since they weren’t the fastest along with the 23 and 45. 2, I feel as this is taking too much attention away from Kurt and the safety of this next gen car, I wish nascar released some sort of statement on what they’ll do next from this point on considering drivers have been complaining about more headaches and longer recovery time. 3, with this playoff system loss of points could mean absolutely nothing since all you have to do is win and your in. If Brad can win within these next few races then even with his big penalty he can still easily race for a championship so I wouldn’t be too upset if I were Hamlin or Busch but from the earnings side of it yeah I’d be upset.

The disqualification is such a shame as it just pulls the rug on all the great on-track action.
They may as well have said the race just doesn’t count. There will need to be a definitive explanation as to what happened or fans will lose some faith in the sport.
Why? They've already said that material was added to the front valance (bumper) in an area not permitted to be modified. It's a similar circumstance to the waffle stamped area of the composite Xfinity bodies. If they elaborate on the details cool, if not, I already understand what the basis of the problem was.

I am really tired of nascar changing rules on the fly, day by day, just so they can keep JGR out of a championship opportunity! Nascar is not a fair sanction these days, drivers are not allowed to just "Race" anymore! Nascar should assemble the cars themselves, wrap them themselves, practice them themselves, qualify them themselves, and THEN, pass them out after nascar has inspected them THEMSELVES!!! you already control all of it anyway!!!

They were talking to Ross at the Chevy stage prior to the race and a fan asked a question about favorite win and he talked about Iowa when he go DQ'd and he said he still has the trophy from that race.
If NASCAR will DQ the winner and 2nd place, not to mention being JGR cars, they have sent a message to everyone they are "NOT PLAYING". Be interesting to know how many cheats just got "recalled" by various teams before next weeks race.
