I bought that book almost as soon as it came out and I'm so glad to see someone from the DND community supporting it! Thank you so much Duke! You did amazing!!
So, i recognise the ribs, bangers and smash, and the dragon salmon, but not the halfling dish. Well, guess ill find out in aproximately 5 hours, and 45 minutes.

I've wanted to get into dnd for a while now but haven't known how to do so, I'd appreciate if someone could give me some sort of pointer on how to get into dnd
I know it's not one specific d&d culture, but I would love to see the uncommon section get like its own video... maybe after the dessert edition...if Duke hasnt completely rage quit by then
When he was like "you can guess which one they are from as well" I legit looked at my mom and said orrrrrr I can go get my book and then proceeded to get the exact book much to my mom's surprise
honestly, best way to remove the "membrane" AKA silverskin, is to just take a paper towel, and pull, just for future reference. Most full beef cuts will have it.
You can also go to the produce section of most chain grocery stores (Fred Meyer's or Carr's Safeway if they're in your area), and get fresh herbs 🌿 like bay leaves too. :)
Ok but imagine a dnd character based off this show - energetic chef who's always searching for recipes on his travels and has a habit of casting fire bolts and fireballs wherever he points
Why does 0:09 to 0:53 radiate such DM energy?! Like the whole "I worked so hard and they crushed my dreams" really just made me think of when DMs stay up till the wee hours working on the campaign only for the players to completely derail everything in 5 seconds 😂
Jenkins! Welcome to the team, you do the gods' work! I absolutely died! Each one just gets better and better. And the fact that PETER was fully behind every dish was just icing on the cake. Thank you thank you thank you! Aw always, this was a delight!
Well this will certainly be interesting. I hope nothing goes wrong. Wait no. Things going wrong makes good content, so I hope things go wrong. Well that just sounds mean...
I have the book and if you can get the duck for the Orange Mountain Duck, it is so worth it. I am a big fan of duck and wish it was more available, and it is a solid recipe.
I really want to see the 5 of you in a D&D Campaign. I think I’d be amazing to watch and doing all these things like this series outside of the game and then they appear in the game too potentially, I dunno I think it would be really entertaining to watch.
Peter actually... liked most of the food?! He's a savory kinda guy. Glad he liked it! Andrew's fork troubles were top notch. Good for Amy! And Andrew did my boi Michael dirty, lol. Great video, as always!
Duke smashes this out of the park for s 3rd time, the start got me so good! But honestly I can only imagine how long these take and how tiresome it can be to redo the same thing, god's work!
I recommend my homebrew item known as the fizzy potion as a drink to pair with these marvelous dishes. All it needs is a potion bottle, a carbonated drink selected by a roulette, something to add flavor also determined by a roulette, and maybe a few drops of intoxicating liquor if you wish. This recipe has not been tested at all but given how my campaign that includes it has it as an item with a completely random effect and taste an untested recipe is fitting.
Am I the only one who feels like Duke and Jenkins are pulling a Markiplier and Lixian? Not a bad thing, they emulate it quite well, just couldn't help drawing the comparison
Duke might benefit from watching Binging with Babish or Matty Matheson's channels actually. 🤔 Just a thought. Loving this series so far I think I'll have to get this cookbook myself. Also welcome Jakin!
Bay leaves can be purchased in most major grocery stores. Fresh bay leaves may be more difficult to find, but they are usually grouped with the fresh herbs in the produce department. Dried bay leaves come in a spice jar and can be found in the spice aisle of your supermarket.

just a little advice on ribs you should add sauce through out the cooking process not all at once so it the sauce doesnt get to dark, also dont be afraid if theres alot of certain veggies like leeks they shrink down to almost half the size, and you should look into getting a cast iron skillet it for frying stuff like salmon or meats it will give it a much better brown crust
[Sees notification for part three of this series] [INSTANT HAPPY SQUEALING NOISES] Duke, you sweet summer child, every time you say "It's fine" we all know you done screwed something, and it's honest to god hilarious 🤣
My guesses: Ribs: Dwarves Soup n Dumplings: Elves Sausages: Halflings Salmon: Human Results: Soup: Halfling Ribs: Humans Salmon: Elves Sausage: Dwarves I was so shocked by that…
The membranes on ribs are normally taken off by finding the edge and just ripping them off it's very easy and if you want the ribs to render the fat best cook it on a barbecue with indirect heat. Also whenever cooking a fish with skin you always cook it skin side down first otherwise it will dry out and you spoon whatever butter or Oils onto the top of the fish that way you cook both sides at the same time.
Pro tip: no matter what it says NO MATTER WHAT IT SAYS, never use white vinegar. White vinegar is for cleaning only. Use apple cider white wine red wine or even rice-wine vinegars. All of these vinegars are good for cooking. Balsamic is usually used raw But is amazing. But never ever ever ever ever ever EVER serve anyone anything with white vinegar in it.
Now i'm just wondering what some of the other races have for their meals? what to Orcs and Tieflings have? Gnomes? Half-Orcs and Half-Elves? Tabaxii, and Tritions? There are so many possibilites! the Half races especially, because I'd imagine that their dishes would be a blend of several other races and cultures.
