I met Rusty today at the store When I stopped in to get brake pads And a new monitor mount For my e-ride 2.0 Super nice guy in person Definitely going back for more upgrades soon
Can you please do an install for the eride pro ss guid. Because when I got to the nut on the motor I couldn’t get it off can you please do a guid on that
Yeah the belt/chain primary drives can be a pain, but better for higher power, I've seen and have had issues with the Talaria gear box running higher power.
@@shockadellick They both are already in it. Honda has been developing there CRE full size bike, and I believe Yamaha just acquired part of Electric Motion. Id say within the next 2 years the big players are going to really start coming out to play now that Stark is proving the MVP for them, and all of these other small size bike companies are popping up out of nowhere every week.
FYI everyone trackngo kit has one of these kits in there track kit it is garbage I’ll be looking at the Surron oem chain conversion or an aftermarket one that proves itself
What’s your opinion on a proper setup 219 conversion for light bee . I have both side converted to 219 for rotational mass reduction I’m not one to do what others do I do stuff myself do you think it will snap with 20kw ?
To add to my question… I noticed the bike has kits that sell that convert belt to 219 then to a 420 that doesn’t make sense to me I don’t feed into that weird 2024 shit 😂😂 that’s the first thing I noticed when searching so I was like hmm special cut sprockets … just want some assurance or details if someone has done it . Didn’t snap yet might tho and if it does oh well I learned something
I think it really depends on your style riding. DB is a company that makes a 219 kit, we used to ride with him often (trail riding) and he was pushing around 15kw on his light bee and never had an issue off road. We have tested the 219 at a MX track and snapped a chain within the first 15 min at 12kw. So I think it really depends on the type of riding your doing and the type of rider that you are. I think the 219 kit can be reliable if your not using it at MX tracks and jumps. I think most 219 kits fail because people do not take care of them. Especially with a 219 kit you must keep it clean as possible and lubricated. a 420 is the same but a little more forgiving because there is just more mass to the chain and teeth. If you are street riding I don't see any issue at all with a 219 kit at 20kw. But a belt would give you the best efficiency if that's what your looking for. a Gates GT4 belt can handle 35kw all day if your riding street and have the proper belt tension setup.
Thank you for my replacement 420 guys!!! Was super stoked to see you being proactive!
Very informative! Thanks
You bet! Hope it saved someone some headaches.
awesome info 💯
Thanks

Mr.Chowwwww!!!
Why I love my talaria I have over 10,000km on my bike and is at 24kw no issues :)

How’d y’all know I broke my 520 primary chain drive 😅😢😂. Thank you!!
Haha because we called every single customer that purchased one once we discovered this motor offset issue :)
Glad I stayed with a belt, despite that they break and are a pain in the butt to change.
Yeah belts are great, but some people that solely ride MX a chain will be more consistent in most cases.
I should have bought an MX-4...I would have saved a ton of headaches.

That said, we need Honda or Yamaha to enter the game.

When you say “one of these kits” what is it your talking about specifically, the belt drive?
Never mind I just looked, it seems that have a 219 chain drive kit. The sprockets certainly look like low grade steel with minimal machining efforts.
