- This is a recording from a rare VHS tape released in 1997 by Mystic Fire. From the back cover: "In this illuminating interview by Noel Fox, Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh provides us with methods of learning the important skills of mindfulness - of being awake and fully aware. His compassionate spirit will help us arrive at greater self-understanding and peacefulness as we learn to make positive use of the situation that might pressure or antagonise us.
In lucid and meditative prose, Thich Nhat Hanh explores the crossroads of compassion and holiness at which the world and traditions meet."

He is one of the greatest people to ever walk the planet. Such grace and compassion.
Omg I love Thays advice to that nun when she was young and her description of him. Through self acceptance we accept all. His display of empathy and explanation of it should only be instilled in all, the world would change.
The waves and water analogy was just beautiful. Best wishes from beautiful Melbourne Australia.
I have been interested in Thich Nhat Hanh for the last 3-4 years and have had my eyes opened.
He guides one in all of the mindfulness practices. His life long walk in Buddhism shows
a great depth of how to live mindfully.
Thank you for this beautiful film. I discover it that special day of Wesak. Il feel my heart filled and warm and my body is still. May compassion guide my feet. With love from France 💜
