So my advice here is: 1. Either get the full size like mine and plan on boiling water right on top of the flattop. It takes a long time to boil but I have found that it is not causing any issues to the steel. But also remember I have the thicker pro series so I’m not sure how it would hold up with the normal version. 2. Go with the half size flat top and still have half your stove. 3. Buy a induction single burner to plug in to the wall to boil water or to use pots and pans. As of right now I haven’t found too many reasons or needs to boil aside from when Austin was under a water boil notice! ;)
Hey, congrats on your purchase. I can't wait to order mine. Just out of curiosity but did you trying boiling anything in a pan on top of the pro and how was it?

Need spacers to place on the stove. You can put 1 in each corner.
Yep. Fortunately when I reached out to Steelmade they sent over the spacers to allow the proper airflow.
