I love how truly melancholic this feels with the song accompaniment, there is both the joy of love but also the swelling of those strings that really makes me tear up knowing the circumstances Tidus and Yuna are in and what's to come. I'm glad they had the sanctuary of this moment to remember

My mom walked in behind us (we didn't hear her come in) and said "What the hell are you watching??" We freaked out as if we were watching the Playboy channel.

From an objective stand point of someone who couldnt finish the game because of personal reason and doesnt have much emotional connection to the characters - That was heartfelt asf, I love this scene, I was feeling something there, almost like they knew they were gonna die or someones leaving idk, its final fantasy someones probably gonna die.
@@stuarthough8440 Sad because she knows that her pilgrimage is leading her towards her inevitable death (before things change), because she was never really able to live the life that she wanted or experience normalcy, because despite finding true happiness in this one moment, her and Tidus will never truly have the option to be together. There's many layers to it but this is essentially what makes it so heart wrenching.

this game first came out in 2001 for the ps2... don't expect the same perfect graphics and detail as a 2023 game. This is remastered for ps4, better quality but exacly same scenes. You should like the scene rather than focus on this (in my opinion) useless detail😭😭
This wasn't needed. I hate when they have to force a 'romance' into something. Now yes the Graphics for the cut scenes are great but lord i wish games would stop with love tropes cant people be friends anymore. I thought this even when I first played it in the early 2000s.

It was absolutely needed. Without their love the ending would bear no weight
Thankfully you can now enjoy plenty of Disney Star Wars and/or Marvel content where everyone is confined to the friendzone.
Their romance was built up for the entire game. If you diddnt see it before this, you weren't paying attention.
