  • In 2012, Tony Farmer (From Ohio) became one of the first ever viral memes on Vine. A video of him fainting in court was paired with the BRUH sound effect and it was shared across the country.
But very few people know that Tony Farmer was actually a star high school basketball player at the time.
Raising the question... where is he now?

    3:13-4:30 He Goes Pro!
    4:31-5:50 Sad Ending…

The one good thing from these stories is that you can actually show your children what can happen, rather than just telling them (like my parents did). I think the visual story hits harder and makes a bigger impression on them to do the right thing and stay out of trouble and how quickly it can all get taken away from you if you're not careful.

But I do acknowledge what religion's original goal was, promote healthy community and keep people on the right path. Even if you dont agree with certain religious practices, that generally is the goal. But some people, as usual, gotta come in and fuck it up. Religion doesnt turn people into monsters, if religion was never invented, those same predatory people, would be doing the exact same thing, just with a different mask.

Look at death in road rage incidents. It's almost 100% of the times committed by men. The list is endless. When you look at talk shows it's like 90% women. Women handle their emotions by talking about it. Men need to let out their emotions in different ways. When they keep stuff bottled in, it ends up in violence.

I went to Maple Heights which is literally 5 minutes from Garfield Heights, seen Tony play plenty of times. Around that time we all knew him & Terry Rozier would make the NBA. Terry went to Shaker Heights which is also pretty close, about 15 mins away. When this situation happened everyone was in shock, we knew he threw it all away, once he got out it’s like people was willing to support and give him a second chance, but when it happened again it’s like the entire city just stopped rooting for him. He really had a golden ticket and threw it away for a woman.
EDIT: More insight on the 2nd arrest
Basically in 2020 Tony Farmer’s girlfriend had a private Instagram account where she’d been posting and keeping track of the abuse he’s done to her over time, but nobody knew about the page, it was her secret, until he must’ve done something else and that was her last straw. She then made the page public and reposted it on her main account alerting a decent sized following about the things Tony was doing. There was a ton of pictures, videos, messages, and recordings about the abuse that she was going through over the course of their relationship. It was crazy to see that he almost lost it all again.

@@denver.d7030 The truth is that there is a hierarchy to basketball leagues in terms of talent level, competitiveness, and earnings potential. The NBA sits at the top overall and Euroleague is the best option internationally, followed by the domestic leagues of countries like Spain, Turkey, Russia, Germany, China etc. The leagues that Farmer played for overseas aren't even in the top 20. So that's the context for Farmer averaging 20pts/10rbs in Qatar and making the All-Star team in Mexico. Zion Williamson is an NBA star and a PF just like Farmer, except he could likely avg 60pts/30rbs in Qatar. And that's how good Tony Farmer would need to be in order for an NBA team to take a chance on him at this point, given his past offense and current age.
