Great unboxing, I would have probably of bought this, but I was let down by the last three seasons. Still the display case is one of the best I have seen for a boxset.
Throw away the 2nd half of S7 (minus the finale). 1ST 5 was great. Definitely agree with the rest about S5 and S8. Just pretend she shot Dexter at S7 end instead.
I did pre order this in the UK but it turned out to be £200 odd so I cancelled it. My breaking bad money barrel was £110. I love Dexter but I couldn't justify the price.
i herd alot of negative reviews from fans about this set but now have seen it myself i think its awesome set mines on order cant wait to get mine soon & the breaking bad set its going to be epic great unboxing

Samaele2112 They had this on Zavvi.com (now sold out) as an exclusive limited releasein UK of only 250 of each Blu-ray & DVD sets, the DVD was £99.99 and Blu-ray £149.99, due for release 18/11/13. I was lucky enough to manage to pre-order one (which will hopeully arrive on Monday) direct from them but if you fancy one there are some being sold on Ebay.co.uk, but expect to pay more, £150 for DVD and over £200 for Blu-Ray based on what I''ve seen.

Thinking about picking it up off eBay which is why I’m on this 10 year old video lol. I’m curious about what he heard that wasn’t good about this set at 5:29, cause most people agree that this is the definitive and best Dexter set to own nowadays.
Hello yes I have seen all 8 seasons, I do think it went downhill after 4 quite a bit, 5 was ok, 6 was a little hard to get thru and 7 and 8 were pretty good but the finale was a little underwhelming to me personally.
I wish it was real too, but it would need to cost more for a real wooden box. Give it till the holidays and you should be able to pick it up for $120 or less I'd imagine. That's a fair price for a Blu Ray set, DVD I would pay no more than $60.
personally i wouldn't buy dexter on blu ray. A lot of the special effects are poor in the series. Not saying the series is because i loved it but i just can't justify spending double the price for a clearer image when the effects aren't even great and the majority of the series is dialogue. Plus the fact that the box isn't even wood also is a bummer. Personally i'd just rather buy the dvd's in the regular cases. Good video though man

That was my main reason in buying it, that and Michael C. Hall and Jennifer Carpenter are great at what they do.

Best part was putting the slides in. Added a Grimm realism to the dexter world. I love mine, havnt found a air unit big enough though sadly.
Should spend more time on the discs and less time looking at the box... Looks awesome though.
Just throw away all the disks for season 5, 7, and especially 8 and you got yourself a pretty sweet boxset there.

Thanks! Yeah a lot of people were mad that the box wasn't really wood, but it is still a great set.

When you said you were exited for the breaking bad barrel my respect for this video went up by ALOT
I'm excited for it way more than I was for this one, and I like Dexter quite a bit.
They are both amazing shows but id have to agree with breaking bad being the one to take the prize too since im also getting the barrel haha

Felt the same as you. Didnt like 8 at all though, found it a letdown after season 7. Still, loved the first 4!
