- Phil Molto takes us for a tour of the liquid cooled, rotary valved Ski-Doo Everest of the early 1980s. As Phil demonstrates, this sled was part of a turning point in Ski-Doo design and also the snowmbile market.

Had this sled yrs ago. Wish I still did☹️
this sled felt light years ahead of the late 70s Skidoos
the 464 was a great engine too
the only downside was the battery was housed way up front near the nose which could sometimes affect the handling
sled was good for 80mph on an open road, which was amazingly good for a trail machine at that time
Up until the Blizzard MX 5500, that Everest was the best ride out there.
It was a Cadillac, super smooth, then suddenly that IFS thing happened everywhere. ;-)
BUDDY HAD ONE JUST LIKE THAT
These were nice. I actually liked the Citation 4500 a little more. But these were nice.
They were all reliable and simple to fix when needed.
Does anyone know the hp of these sleds? Would it be 65-70?
Like 60hp I have one it's quick enough for a leafer
