Both kills jellied up the internals. 6.5 creedmoor 143gr eldx did the job. Handloads, 42.5gr of 6.5 staball powder.

I agree completely. I shot a mule deer last year with my 6.5 creedmor, ELD X 140 g. bullet at 160 yards. The first bullet failed, core separated from the jacket. The jacket was stuck in the hide on the entrance side. Second round was a complete pass through and killed the deer. The expanded jacket was stuck in the entrance side hide of the deer. Second round impacted within an inch of the first, full penetration and exited out the rib cage on the back side. I’d like a refund or a box of target ammo. I won’t hunt with this bullet again.
So where is the 125 grain ELD X bullet for the 6.5 caliber because of the speed I will not use the heavy ones, a 125 to 130 grain flat base ELD X would be great but it does not exist, I think Hornady should make it because it would be a very big seller and a 125 grain bullet has plenty of sectional density up to mule deer sized game. Now that's my two cents worth coming from a hunter as I will not use the heavy ones because they are just too slow, aim small, good hunting, GOD bless.
Now fix the bullet! A bullet that sheds its core at 2,000 FPS isn’t a bullet I will hunt with. Especially when my rifles are usually well over 3,000 FPS muzzle velocity.

I hit a Whitetail Buck at 50 yards this year, with my 257 Weatherby Mag.
The ELDX bullet completely “exploded”.
This bullet is being marketed as an “all around” bullet. It is not!!!
The plastic tip has nothing to do with the bullet holding together at impact. The core does.
Tell me about the core and penetration values.
These bullets have terrible weight retention. Don't believe the hype. Accurate yes, good for hunting: NO.
Zašto tako kažeš, jel imaš iskustva, pitam zbog lova?
Just start making bullets again
K)
..... Blah Blah no point in Watching on how good your Projectiles are if we cant Buy Hornady Projectiles here in Australia .. im now trying Berger
Now Scott dont be a dick. Cum to the God blessed U.S. of Americans and we’ll show you some real huntin not kangaroos. Whats up with those weird f’ing things anyway?
Why didnt you patent it?
Oh Winchester did this in the 50s!
Yea. xD
What’s the big deal with another innovator making the product better? I’m sick of all these internet warriors who have no clue and are ignorant beyond belief. Go practice falling down.
Why does this bullet separate and fragment on impact????????
This is not a interlocking bullet!!!!!
👎👎👎👎👎👎👎🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
Need to actually put your new see threw bullet tips on your bullets!!!!!
Also need to make it a bonded bullet so it does not separate!!!!!
Baught 4 boxes of 7mm magnum precision amo and all had bright solid red tips not these new see through blood red tips!!!!🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬👎👎👎👎👎👎
They don't retain their weight. And the tips bend. I shoot them and everything I've hit has gone right down. But. They don't do all of what they say they do.
