The throw from RF to 3rd means you have to have a cannon arm in MLB. Always think of Ichiro as one of my favorite RF with those insane catches at the wall.
Im a catcher but to save myself from knee pain i do a single knee stance. The single knee stance makes it easier to block in the dirt but harder to throw people out.
@MadBananaRL same, but we both agree that spiked fastball are the worst. Curveball are fine, even sliders aren't a big deal, fastballs in the dirt are a pain
@@RandyRussell44 sometimes curveballs can be annoying if the pitcher is really good because it can jump a lot the other way. But spiked fastballs are really bad
Right fielders usually have the best arm in the outfield because they have the longest throws to 2nd / 3rd / home. They also have to cover a ton of space.
Pitcher / 2nd baseman here, I have one of if not the strongest arm on the team and I am 3rd tallest on the team… it’s smart to play your pitchers at 2nd to not stress the arm more and keep stamina up.
As a pitcher, shortstop and the occasional centerfielder I agree with this 100%. I have a strong arm, I have the most drip and I'm the fastest on the team.
Maybe times have changed, but the most talented player on most teams was usually the third baseman. Usually a power hitter, lightning reflexes, and a strong arm. ie Mike Schmidt
I bounced between left field and 3rd base as a kid all the time. i had a cannon of an arm and was like the only one constantly able to throw far enough to make it to first base from left field
Catcher , first base man, and third baseman here. Catcher is pretty true, it’s base, I’m not to tall but I’m not short compared to other girls on the team, and third is also true. I bat 3rd in the lineup
Pitcher and right fielder is me. (FOR ONE right field are there to back up first base and they have the strongest arm because they have to throw sometimes all the way to 3rd base. I can throw over the whole field.) (FOR TWO right fielders are really important and they get a lot of balls hit to them) and for three the coaches kid is always favorited and put on shortstop or pitcher and is never benched. And every time the coaches kid is benched they throw a fit
Little League coach here and a lot of this is dead on. Catcher's nowadays need to be agile as well as tough. Most kids nowadays are very lazy so it's good to find one who is athletic and has some grit. First baseman aren't just tall. They need to be reliable at catching the ball with plenty of errant throws coming their way. Pretty much everything else is spot-on though!
There is an inbetween. As a shortstop i sucked at batting butt kinda good atfeilding. I only played digets (11 and 12 year olds) never the coach kid, but.... it was fun.
I played a lot of 2nd freshman year and I was one of the tallest, played more short and some 2nd as sophomore and stole way more bases that year. But also at the same time I played every position literally sophomore year as well.
Catcher and third baseman but the best hitters and all around player, if the team needs it I can play every position accept play 1st, in other words I’m a straight up 5th grade stud and I get straight As in everything.
i am basically the player that has played every position except catcher and these are my favorites 5th: Centerfield 4th: 3rd base 3rd: 1st base 2nd: Pitcher 1st: 2nd base my primary position
help this is so real in all stars i was always at the bottom of the lineup and i mainly played right field even though im a first baseman, and right now i play first and shortstop and i am the coaches kid, and all of the first baseman ones are true😂
Then me back in the day in hs and college, being a catcher who hit leadoff and led the conference in stolen bases lol To age myself, the knee saver wedges were still a newer invention and difficult to find until i was in late hs
My coaches always put me in right field, the second base always miss the ball I would tell the first baseman I throw him to get the out. Only 4 times they stay on the bag. Only one time we got them out, the other the umpire were busy adjusting their cups
I feel like RFers are usually big as hell and have no range. Every team I've ever played on from little league to college had a big slow footed right fielder who has the best arm on the team and strikes out a bunch but can hit a moonshot if they connect. Literally every single team I played for.
Right field in the MLB is probably the most loaded position. But if you play right field in little league…
It sucks in little league I play it

the coaches kid 😭 so true though
Yup. My son’s coach has three boys on the team. Pitcher, catcher and SS.
Raised 3 boys and saw this bulls*** over and over. Don't get me started!
holy shit its so true lmao
Im a catcher but to save myself from knee pain i do a single knee stance.
The single knee stance makes it easier to block in the dirt but harder to throw people out.
I do one knee when nobody is on base, but with a runner on I get up and do two feet.
Same
I find it harder to block in the dirt on one knee bc you can’t really get around as fast 🤷♂️

I was a proud right fielder and I OWNED the 9th spot in the lineup.
Same I love the 9 spot as a right fielder
😂
I played left bench
Right bench myself
I play left out and right next to the coach mostly
@@K37-h1zguess I’ll slide in at center bench
i played batboy
Trash can boi no Astro 🗣️🗣️🗣️
Right fielders are there because they have the strongest arm, since its further from 3rd.
Depends on the age group tbh
Cap
I feel like you are a right fielder that is why you are saying that
@@NathalieMacias-vv3wp I'm talking about high level baseball not little league
The right fielder is the worst player until you get to high level travel teams or high school
bro i’m so glad i didn’t have to go find a part 2 to this
Nah picking the bad throws is so relatable
A proud catcher 💪
accurately said that CF Kevin Kiermaier does try to catch every flyball to the OF 😂
Right fielders usually have the best arm in the outfield because they have the longest throws to 2nd / 3rd / home. They also have to cover a ton of space.
First base is so accurate ✨😭
Bro I am in left field and this is so true I bat third but the center fielder takes all of my fly balls
Catch, pitch, short... I've even made the crowd crazy from right field!.. talking baseball... wherever there is an open spot!
This is literally my baseball team
AYYYY played 3rd base for 10 years! My arm was indeed a cannon. And I batted cleanup.
I’m center field and that is so true
I was a slow CF but had great route efficiency and positioning to make up for it

catcher was by far my favourite position to play in any sport, even though i didn't play past little league.
As a catcher you can't forget some of those beams coming in from out field.
I loved playing center.
As a catcher then left fielder this is on the money
Im a center fielder and catcher and it all makes sense
This is true
Proud right fielder over here. 2nd in the lineup ❤
I play first and third and center and I am probably the best hitter on the team
I play lf, rf, and 1st. And this was so accurate to my team
the center fielder one was on point lol
As a centerfielder and third base man this is accurate
Left right out is a good position especially for early morning games.
Definitely a catcher my knees are hurting right now from watching 😂
This is spot on🫡
I play 1st 3rd center and left and this is so accurate 😅
Stop because this fits my team almost perfectly
Center field and shortstop team 👇
It’s scary how accurate this is 😅
( I’m a softball player and I play center)
I play third left field and center but mainly third and left and I will say this is pretty accurate
As a pitcher, shortstop and the occasional centerfielder I agree with this 100%. I have a strong arm, I have the most drip and I'm the fastest on the team.
this is SOOO ACCURATE 🤣🤣

Im the 2nd basemen in softball and this stereotype about being short is still true. But i can most definetely hold my own😊
ur sooo right 😂😂😂 lol i play second and i have noodle arm but good fielding😊

Left field is too true😢
as a shortstop, that is the most accurate statement ever 😎

Leftfield or center but im there just for hitting im probably one of the best defensema

Second base and this is so true

You forgot the bench player who asks his mom for money so he can get Little Ceasars after practice

All fairly accurate except right field. They often have the best arms and biggest bats. Canseco and Vlad Guerrero are the first that come to mind.
I was a 2nd baseman with center fielder speed, 3rd baseman reaction time, and pitchers arm. I was short then and I'm average height now.
I’m a first baseman and the discripchin fits me so well 😂
This is so real 😂
The first base one is so true because Bryce Harbor and Pete Alonzo have the most home runs on their team
Thats so damn true. Everything inthis video is true
Why is this actually true 😂
As a C/LF, my coach needs to pick whether he wants to win or to save a double here and there.
FIRST position of the vid and that left knee's just about SHOT...like dude's acting skill - all nine spots!😂⚾️👍🏾

Right fielders have to have a cannon. You forgot to mention that. They are always throwing to third base to cut down triples or guys going 1st to 3rd
At higher levels of play, sure, but in Little League you stick your worst player in right field since the fewest balls are hit to that area.
