I walk past Ormidale Terrace Edinburgh regularly and always imagine John as a boy, visiting and playing with his cousin at the river ( Water of Leith) which was across the main road at the bottom of his street.
I too, used to play there as a kid in the early 1950s.
Ah...memories.

Wow that was really great thank you for appearing that on UA-cam's for me to hear. I was lucky enough to hear both performances at the Opium in LA. Lady Gaga I have no idea of her immense Talent until that performance! Both concerts were Superior and I will never forget them. And such a great t-shirt to thank you, best to you Sean and everybody. I always feel wonderful when I listen to John Lennon and it is very exciting to listen to you guys discussing your memories of working with John and Yoko
I have both the Plastic Ono Band and the Imagine box sets and when I listen to the disks it makes me feel as if I am in the Studio with John and the rest of the musicians

I finish by saying that even though I’ve oh ready commented on other videos about how much I love John and his music, I will repeat that I consider him to be the best human being that has ever existed and I am proud to say that I have a 16 year old niece, A 14 year old nephew and Ace seven year old nephew Who now also Love John and hopefully when they grow up and have kids they will also pass his music and his message on to them

My favorite off the album is God. I love how he's listing off the things that at one time had some value or importance to him. But he's letting go of these. Only in the end you hear empty space and the naked vocal, I just believe in me... Yoko and me.....(spoken) and that's reality. It makes me cry everytime I hear it. It's just like a release. Letting it all go and finally finding and believing yourself.
My granddaughter has Lennon for her middle name. The best God bless RIP. ❤❤❤❤🙏❤🙏❤🙏❤

P who introduced me to the great and iconic artist John Lennon thru the group The Beatles. Then my ex have lot of Cd collection. My favorite all time song of John is the song Imagine. In my collection I have these CD which I planned to listen today . The John Lennon Collection, 2cd collection Abbey Road, 2 cd collection of Let it Be, the Beatles 2cd collection of the Beatles live at BBC, the revolver Cd, the a rubber soul Cd, the Beatles yellow submarine. I have heard the voice of Yoko .Today I listened to John rendition of Imagine on UA-cam when he was with Yoko .thanks again.
PS and let us never forget the truth currently holds true, a working-class hero is something to be!

A wonderful discussion about a fantastic album. As a massive Beatles fan I first got into John’s solo work in the mid 70s via Shaved Fish. It wasn’t long before I bought POB (still have that vinyl) and it changed my musical tastes from that day forward. It lead my to re-examine John’s Beatles work through a different lens.
