    Several observations: 1) If the prosecuting intern wins a conviction and you go to jail, you become a prisoner of Zenda. 2) "JessicaBlanchonbehalfofthepeople" is all one word and must be spoken as rapidly as possible. 3) Atty Lorne Brown has a voice made for radio - reminds me of Don Cornelius from the old "Soul Train" show.

    These "Competency" evaluations really need to be fixed as defendants CLEARLY are suffering from profound Mental Health and Social Functioning issues. And you don't need to be a (retired) clinician to realize this. As to the fix.....it's two-fold. First, there should be no "Innocent by Reason of Insanity." Instead, this should be introduced in the punishment and placement part of the trial, after a conviction. Then, if the (now) convict requires placement in a max security mental health facility, rather than a normal prison, that can be addressed. The second part is more challenging as it requires establishing a way/new system to try someone as in the above "Friday's case." Perhaps a mental health court? Anyhoo, presently the whole thing is broke.

    If your going to fired after working 17 years then you have problems with your employer. If you were good, after that long, they would likely keep you.

    BAIL IS SUCH BS NO BODY SHOULD BE IN JAIL UNLESS A JURY HAS CONVICED YOU

    • @myopinionmatters
      @myopinionmatters Рік тому +13

      You should look up Darrell brooks, he was released on bond of $1000 after he beat his girlfriend and tried to run her over, two days later, he again tried to run her over, but she had people who had her back and said they were calling the cops, he freaked out, and he drove right through a parade route, killing 4 people. I can agree that no one should be jailed more than a couple hours for crimes lower than a felony, but saying that no one should be jailed until proven guilty, you’re talking about child predators, murderers, abusers, and drug traffickers all of which we need off the street before a one to 2 Year Court process find them guilty.

    Crazy how someone can be accused of something. Not convinced and spend so much time in jail and lose everything you’ve worked for And if you’re found guilty. You don’t get that back. You’re just left screwed over Judges don’t care. They only are there to get money for the state

      Just saw a black guy who has been in jail 10 damn yrs awaiting trial and they have no evidence just one witness who recanted his statement twice. Had a trial recently and it was a mistrial and he's still sitting in jail. That's ABSURD!!!!
