I am moving to Norway from the UK next Spring. At the moment I feel a sadness to be leaving my home and friends, but your videos, especially this one are so beautiful and inspiring. You guys love the melanchonic way of winters😅here in Swedish Lapland we use lights, not sitting in the half dark. Its no difference with only 3 hours of daylight, we brighten up things and are full of energy😁💪🇸🇪

Yes, it's unbelievably stunning. I never got used to it. However, we never really appreciate our own neck of the woods, because my Norwegian friends and family would laugh themselves silly over my praising the beauty. The people are equally beautiful 🇺🇲🇧🇻🌨️❄️

Hi, Leena. Thank you so much for your video. We also had arrive to Norway and we live in a small few house village. And this is our first winter here. So we enjoy the sounds of wind and a fireplace almost every evening. It's another life, but I can feel, I am home here. At what place/kommune of Norway do you live? We live in Kinn komune.
Maybe Joachim should do a cooking livestream? Kalle Foldin did one yesterday it was very chill and relaxing.

It should be everybodies dream to leave the rat race and go somewhere beautiful. I retired 3 years ago at afev52 moving from Manchester UK to Manila, Phillpines. Never regretted my decision for a minute, the climate is great, the people are friendly and welcoming, beaches are stunning and I can live a simple life for 50% of what I'd spend in the UK. I've got so many things to do everyday to keep me busy, listen to music 5hrs/day, look after my 3 cats, buy fresh vegetables, salad, fruit and meat and cook, grow my own herbs, watch historical documentaries, follow my football team Manchester City, get away for tge weekend to the beach when I can. I really don't know how I fit work into my days before I retired.

Hello, I just discovered your channel, congratulations the videos are wonderful. Could you tell me which camera and lens you used?
I don't know what it is...but it was one of those few videos which makes you appreciate your own life so much. Appreciate the light, appreciate the time and 'not busy' days (as I realised how much work is something behind the scenes with little details even), appreciate the warm house, appreciate everything what is already available in our own lives - and see it as 'gold'. This video was very 'waking' - if that makes sense. I'm also very curious about the meditation coming and think it's a very interesting idea (specially with your voice over). And yes I also have learnt to let myself to feel tired in winter time and that's OK. THANK YOU for this simple yet powerful video. As of course we go on adventures from time to time and do spectacular things from time to time - but it's our daily routine, our daily life - what matters the most, because that's what's happening the most often and it affects us the most 🥰 have a wonderful 'END' of 22 and 'BEGGINING' of 23!
