I enjoyed this video very much . My son has a great speech therapist, but I want to do something more with him at home, for the extra support. Thank you!

This is super helpful for teaching kids, tho I’m teaching non English speaking adults to practice final consonant pronunciations. Now I get the idea of breaking up vowels and final consonants so the students can practice your each segments.
I’m sure to use your method if I happen to teach kids. Thank you!!

Also I have a question, could you please suggest some home activities that are natural that we could do with a child for Final consonant deletion ? Please ?

Hi! Let me try and give you a few steps to follow to give you some ideas!
1.)The best ways to naturally teach new skills is to think about your daily routines (such as bath time and meal times, etc.) and play times.
2.) As you go through your daily routines and play times, pay attention to words that you are saying and that your child is saying-listening carefully for words with final consonants.
3.) Try and gently manipulate the environment to encourage your child to say those words. For example, at bath time you could find ways to practice the final /p/ in the word "soap" or if you are working the kitchen you could find ways to practice the final /t/ in the word "pot".
Hopefully you find this helpful! As always, if you have specific questions about your child your own SLP will be able to give you more guidance!
