  • You've never learned phrasal verbs like this before! In this video, you'll learn the ideas behind phrasal verbs with the word "down" in them. You'll learn "close down", "bring down", "shout down", and many more. Most importantly, I always want you to learn the hidden meanings of words so that you can understand them when you hear them out of context, in a way you haven't seen them before. I'll go over examples for how these phrasal verbs are used in conversation and we'll practice using them together on the whiteboard. Then test your understanding with the quiz: www.engvid.com/down-phrasal-ve...

Agreed. I'm surprised by the fact that i could actually understand what he said on phrasal verbs. When i think of phrasal verbs the only thing that comes to my mind is: "Go back! Go back! It's a suicide mission!".

James, thank you so much! With you I discovered my confortable and logical way to study phrasal verbs. For me, first comes the prepositions, because the verbs remains their senses. Therefore, the aim is to understand wich modelation we want to make using preposition.
