Phrasal verb is simply a verb with a preposition that has a greater meaning
E.g. Cheer means to root for smo, to motivate or support smo, whereas Cheer up, implies making smo happy when they're sad
The word UP has a couple of meanings in combination with some verbs:
    1. Increase - add up, speak up, cheer up, jack up or make up or bring up
    2. Move - catch up, speed up, go up, walk up
    3. Complete - wrap up, finish up, end up
This lesson was decent, Thank you so much Mr. James. You're a great teacher

I'd like to finish this up later.
PHARASAL VERB = 2 OR 3 WORDS word
    Verb + preposition (+preposition)
    Up + Verb = #1. Increase #2. Movement #3. Complete(ment)
Don't bring up this topic as it's too sensitive for us
    COMPLETE:
You've got to put gas into the tank so to fill up the fuel
I will finish up reading my homework a bit later
    MOVE:
We should catch up to reach them
If you run up to him during a race it might be possible but unlikely
    INCREASE:
Speak up I want to listen to you lucidly
Could you turn up the volume of TV set I don't here anything
Cheer up you shouldn't be sad! You're alive you have a home with healthy parents who care about you.
Why don't you grow up If you're acting like a little kid
THE KEY TO GET THE "UP" preposition in PHRASAL VERBS
    INCREASE MOVE AND COMPLETE
There 3 uses of up in PHRASAL VERB combination: to increase, to move, to complete
I want to add up some strength for my body
Be careful you must not even walk up to this animal! Otherwise he will devour you completely!! Beware
To wrap with this excellent lesson I need to record myself to explain clearly what I got out of this lesson
    Thank you Teacher James!

is it the same with all verbs that has "up" preposition?
I mean increase, decrease, move etc?
    lay down
    lay over
    lay up
    etc
    let up
    make up
Hmm its a bit difficult with some words, because it changes the meaning of the single verbs!
