Dear teacher , James! You can’t imagine how happy I’m, now,
when i finally found out the way(method) of learning phrasal verbs- there hundreds of them and I was looking for the root of their origin, how and why they are working together with particles such: off, out, up...and you have completely explained everything: I was asking native speaker many times but they couldn’t explained - what was the bottom of it (the foundation of them)thank you very much! Keep doing your wonderful job! We , English language learners really appreciate this!!

I set off in the morning. My wife scares me off to go to work. My boss tells me off all the time and threatens to write me off. I am so pissed off to the point that I want to jump off the bridge then it came the brilliant idea of just making off with the company's money. I become rich and all my colleagues would say how could he pull that off?

    I have other examples:
    - Guys, I need to buzz off right away because I am too late.
    - Earlier, my friend used to drop off at the wheel while driving. Hhhhhhhhhh.

"Off" phrasal verbs are the most difficult for a French speaker, because there's no equivalent in French of the preposition "off". For example, "nous buvons dans un verre", "nous mangeons dans une assiette", whereas you drink off a glass and eat off a plate. So, I'll have to watch you video over and over again till I don't even have to think about the meaning of those f****** "off" phrasal verbs.
Thank you for the quality of your work.
