I feel it is kinda designed to be pirated tbh. Many of succesful producers pirated software and after they made some money they bought it.
I see what you're saying. I know many people do that. But just because someone else does something doesn't mean you should. You wouldn't walk into a store take a candy bar and not pay for it, so why is this different? The people creating plugins are running a business and pirating their product negatively affects their livelihood. That's just how I feel, nobody has to do what I'm doing.

Yeah for sure. When you have the same plugins everyone else does I feel like it's easier to just end up making the same stuff. I'm kinda the opposite tho. I've been limited with sounds for so long, so I'm starting to get some mainstream plugins.

I used to make beats but I had pirated EVERYTHING then I became a better dude, deleted everything and told myself if I really wanna make beats i’ll buy everything, but I ain’t buy shit yet.
That's great man. Mad respect for doing that. It's definitely hard to buy these plugins. I'm fortunate enough to be able to get a couple of the big named ones, but I don't think I'll ever get stuff like omnisphere. That's why if you don't enjoy this and want to make it your passion, I don't recommend getting into it. It's so damn expensive and on top of that it's a very hard industry to succeed in. Anyways I wish you the best bro! I hope you succeed!
