This small Spotted Eagle Ray (Aetobatus narinari) was cruising with the current over the reeftop of Newman's Wall, outside CocoView resort on Roatan.

Just saw one yesterday, came out of nowhere and circled me ~ 5 times. Never in my life have I seen a creature that was so obviously curious, just amazing!

YOU were swimming, it was FLYING! I love these, they are one of my top target species I look for while diving. I have videos of them in Bonaire on my channel and even one looking for food that I saw from the sidewalk while I was on my bike in Key West.
