Are you doing just the CAM housing? Also, is this the short nose Cascadia? If it is, it will require more labor because of the limited space to work on. Cylinders 4, 5, 6 are tucked in to the cab.
Thank you, but used light , I couldn't see it, Is there anything i can do without removing rear housing or is there any chance that bolt fell into oil pan? Btw i am removing cylinder head, if that helps
I have heard mixed reviews. When I first started I understood one and done. But then heard they can be reused. If you are working on your own then it’s up to you. But for a shop, I recommend replacing. I worked on a DD15 recently and reused the injector line number 1. Which leaked after a few miles, ended up replacing with a new.

Rocker and rocker shaft removal?
Those things you call saddle, also call caps?
I lift completely cams housing
I’m doing a dd13 right now. What do you believe a good labor rate is for this. It’s my first one but I want to bill the customer fare.

Those small cam housing bolts fell down , what should i do?
Use a flash light and hopefully you can see them. Maybe use a magnet to fish them out. Or you may have to remove the rear housing.

@@davindersingh-qk6gf you can remove the oil pan and hopefully you will have access to them and get them out.

The lines from rail to injectors are reusable

Yeah, the BS with the parts situation is so fuct.... Everything is pretty much on national back order. So sad.
I have to order parts right now and there is ZERO eta from my local Freightliner and Detroit Diesel distributor. It’s horrible
If driver had an in-frame done it should be covered by warranty. I'd be making the shop pay for repairs.
I agree with you 100%, all shops should be responsible for their work.
