What's your favorite Tony Williams album? Any Tony Williams fans in the comments? 😄
Most definitely a huge fan. 🪭 loved all his works. All the way to his last quartet.
Sorcerer
Fabulous playing, and great break down! Will enjoy cracking on with these
Glad you enjoy it! Please send us a video once you've mastered it!
Al is the man!
Great lesson, beautiful playing!
Crazy to see my bro saoirse up there
His last album (young at heart) has some of the sickest trading fours I've ever heard (on the tune you and the night and the music). It's up there with Philly's trading fours on milestones.
The album also features Tony playing brushes, which he hasn't done on any of his own recordings for years.
My favorite Tony Williams album is The New Tony Williams Lifetime / Believe It. It’s got Allan Holdsworth playing up a blue streak in addition to the usual TW magic.
That one is our favorite too!
Yeah, you know there was drums before Tony and drums after!
He was consummate genius!
Cheers.
How old is that kid? Pretty good playing! Pretty good technique. Kid has some chops!
He is 17! An excellent drummer!
Shout out to the kid !! Super bad !!
Could not agree more! Great playing!👍👍👍👍
