I had one of these in the same color scheme - plaid interior and all. Best American van I ever owned, and there were a few. The 400 was pretty gutless, but that's the government for ya. Super comfortable on long trips. Last year of the Slope and horizontal tail lights. Mine had the ambulance door in back. Ireally liked it because I could launch my boat by walking out the bcak onto the trailer tongue without any acrobatics like with a pick up.
If that 400 was gutless there was something seriously wrong with it. This one is a real tire burner. My high-top is even so, you don't expect a van 9 feet high to do burnouts, but it does.
@@RetroAutoMN The 400 was pretty choked down by regulations. It only had a two barrel, plus a lot of other emissions stuff on it. It wasn't really THAT gutless, but for a 400, it should have been more impressive. That said, it had plenty of towing power. I do wish I had one of these great vans today.
It's a 400. Kinda surprised I didn't brag about that in the video (love the 400). I know I did in it's original video. AND I already mentioned the 400 in previous comments.
What a great job you have done with your van. Those are the best vans Dodge ever made, in my honest opinion.
Very nice !
Looks good. Glad to see you posting again.

Nice 77 👍 most likely it's got a 318 engine and they are very good.

@@RetroAutoMN Oh ok then cool. I had a 73 with a slant six. It was a good van, a workhorse.
