Made my SP909 kit today, and got inspired to make an entire track using these new samples from my TR909. You can download the sample pack here: archive.org/de...
Scott brown from qtex bass x ect used one in hardcore tracks most people think they are only for hip-hop but can make anything on them they sound amazing
It’s seems you are “muting” the individual tracks by lowering the mix faders to the minimum position (all the way down), I say this because on the Rossum SP-1200 when the mix on the faders is all the way down you can still hear the sound faintly, which Rossum acknowledged as proper functionality that the faders at their minimum values do not “mute” the sound. My question: is this behavior also present on your Emu SP-1200 and the faint sound of the tracks are not audible in this video or do they indeed “mute”? Thank you.
Hey man that is really great. what are you thought on the S2400 vs SP1200? is the SP1200 warmer? this track your making is really nice. suuuuper live sounding. It sounds like it's not coming out of a sampler , but recorded from the source.
I haven’t used an S2400 yet. I really do like what ISLA is doing with the platform though. A machine that could do a wider variety of 12 bit machines definitely has my interest. Having the flexibility of the MPC60 workflow with the sound quality of the sp1200 would be perfection.
Good to see some house getting pushed through these fine machines
Nice tune! And a beauty of an SP1200, very nice.

Hard to find tech / house vids from this machine done all-in-one, but when done right, there's nothing like it. This is a fine example.
Good stuff! And thanks for the samples, that's really nice of you. I loaded them into my Yamaha RX-5, fun was had.
Very cool - that Emu looks like a beast!
