I have a 2010 Silverado with 160k miles on it. I put the “Range” version of this on mine. It really made a difference. The truck definitely runs better but I really noticed it shifts better. You can hear a difference in the exhaust notes as well, it’s not loud, rather just different. I haven’t noticed any difference in fuel mileage. It sucked before and it still sucks. 😂 But no one bought a V8 truck to save gas!

I have a 2019 silverado and I have the ranger version of that and I love it it just runs smoother. Plus I didn’t lose any mileage per gallon I just drive easy anyways and it runs better in v8
The LED illuminated on the device likely draws only milliamps. That should not "drain" the battery for a couple of weeks or longer. A battery maintainer makes that a moot point.
What, you don't want the " tick tick tick " sound of death? I have a 11 with the 4.8. Its a turd, but doesn't have all that crap on it. I soak it with diesel fuel and bar and chain oil every fall in hopes it will last forever. Fat chance.

This is as bad as the start/stop crap Gm has on vehicles.
Start stop is mandatory on ALL cars now. But I agree-its not good
