I really enjoyed making this one. I took the easy way out and machine stitched as much as possible ( zipper, and binding) due to my arthritis. Thanks for a great tutorial.
Hi, very cute bag. My sewing machine was in a closet for a long time. This video inspired me to take it out n sew more than one little bag. I increased its size by taking 10 inch circle for templet and added pocket for lipstick n pencil n brush.
great tutorial. I used a tea saucer as my template in order to make it a bit smaller. I also used bias tape and machine sewed everything. Turned out pretty well, perfect for catching my pencil shavings. ☺
I just finished one of these, really cute.Only thing I did different was I sewed zipper on by machine and that seems to work out better for me.Thanks for sharing
this is amazing! we fail to do things just because we have not seen how they do them. practical work is easy. am making one bag tomorrow. tell me how did you discover this? imagine the no. of people visiting your site!! this is very educative.
thank you for your awesome videos, I don't speak English, but your understandable describe in video help me to understand everything ☺ shoot more such videos 👍
Miss Fitti Ha ha, well it's hard to hand stitch with needles and threads and fun looking scissors when you have a toddler playing around you wanting to touch everything!
Thank you so much for your brilliant, well enunciated and thoroughly visualised video. I am in California US, what is Dacron, please? Is there a different name here in the states, do you know? Is it an iron-on stabiliser? Thank you again.
Its looks soo easy to make..will definitely give it a try my sewing machine is stuck right now..have to fix it first..your explanation makes everything really easy to work with..great video btw can u please tell whicj fabric did u used to make this bag..
Use ladder stitch when hand sewing the binding. That way the stitches can't be seen.... Also use a water erasable pen instead of biro for marking fabrics. For the pattern pieces consider using freezer paper. It's iron on /peel off and eliminates the need for pinning...
Nice bag and tutorial. Thanks! I think I'll try to make it; however, I think I'll try to use fusible interfacing instead of quilt batting. I do like your style tho, thanks again. :)
Easy to understand! I'm always afraid that my hand stitching won't look very professional. But these stitches look simple and the end product looks great!
Ótimo o teu vídeo. Não falo tua língua, porém entendi exatamente como fazer essa necessaire. Parabéns. Essa conta de you tube é do filho, meu nome é Cristiane e amo artesano

On your binding pieces I noticed you don't interface them with lightweight interfacing? May I ask is this not necessary?
Nice bag and tutorial. Thanks! I think I'll try to make it; however, I think I'll try to use fusible interfacing instead of quilt batting. I do like your style tho, thanks again. :)
nurselulu67 DIY is all about making it work for you with what you have! Great idea :)
so all made by hand stitch? for the zipper part by hand too?
Hi Ayi, this tutorial uses both machine and hand-stiching, but could also be done purely by hand if needs be :) The zipper is by hand either way, yes.
Easy to understand! I'm always afraid that my hand stitching won't look very professional. But these stitches look simple and the end product looks great!
