What a beautiful show. I love how the lights slowly come up in the buildings as the show progresses, and how it's all timed. I love the music too! It's a truly magical experience.
I remember seeing this show way back when I was a kid. Hands down THE BEST fireworks show I have ever seen in my life. I went and saw it like 3 times i liked it so much!
When I went to Epcot I filmed the fireworks and I was sitting in this exact place! I lost the video though so I was happy to find this! Such an amazing show
I was just at Epcot, on New Year's Eve and the part at 7:51 was one of the most amazing feelings, possibly the most, that I have ever felt. I almost exploded. Now they have like a horizon of lasers at that part through the smoke. Oh my god.... I get chills every time.
I love you for making this video. This reminds me of the times i used to go to Disney World. I'll be using your tips next time i go to Epcot. Thanks again! -Elliot~
It's gets me how guests always think it ends there. lol :) Everyone starts clapping and gets ready to leave, since the park closes after that, but the Illumination actually lasts almost 15 min. :D I can see they have improved a lot, since this is old, they use more fire now.
@bsgfan1, The view at the future world side of the lagoon is the best. However, they often close the area off because of winds blowing the debris from the show (it's that close!). My second favorite spot is from the bridge at Mexico, which is where much of this video was shot from. Thanks for the note!
@racetrip Thanks for your comments! Well, I filmed it from two locations and took scenes from both. I edited it using Final Cut Express for Mac. I'll be glad to help. I'm not a pro, but really enjoy this stuff.
Great video quality and capture! I just wish it didn't zoom away from the globe in the last part. The fireworks are great, but for me, the globe images are what make the show stand out. Great video nonetheless!
@coolness997 Thanks! I have recently been looking to purchase a good camcorder for personal use. Unfortunately, most places I'm looking are saying that particular model is no longer available. I have found several similar ones with better zoom, but usually less megapixels. Oh well. Thanks for the input!
When I uploaded this in 2009, You Tube had a 10 minute limit. The remainder of the show is called "We Go On". Also, I have recently uploaded the full version shot in 2011. It's the full show since You Tube now allows up to 15 minutes. The fire barge is back too!
Not only is the video well-made, but probably the best quality I've seen of the hundreds (probably thousands) of similar videos of this same show...what kind of camera do you use?

When I went to Epcot, there was a huge storm and we almost didn't get to see IllumiNations. But luckily, we did and it was amazing.

He is.... The narrator is Jim Cummings, who voiced Darkwing Duck. He also voices Winnie the Pooh and Tigger, among others.
Illuminations is so much better then wishes and fantasmic but thats just me.....
