- Join Martha as she shares four of her favorite recipes highlighting the South's rich culinary heritage. An irresistible banana cream pie that's perfect for any occasion, a coconut cake loaded with more coconut than you thought possible, and a spoon bread that's more "pudding" than "bread" and as light as a soufflé. Plus, pecan tassies, petite pastries featuring the flavors and textures of pecan pie.

Martha Stewart Makes 4 Southern Desserts | Martha Bakes S4E9 "Southern" - Навчання та стиль
Yeah…Martha can do all these southern desserts in her sleep. Her recipes definitely capture the culture of the south.
Love banana and coconut desserts 💛🧡💛 And that coconut cake looks stunning 💖
I DON'T eat desserts very much. I can't stop watching Martha bake🤔
Oh the beautiful South and it’s delicious desserts and excellent food, I love it!
My mom made banana creme pie every Thanksgiving until her passing in 98. Gosh I miss my mom. She could of been a youtube star.
@Ansley loves to do art thank you 🌹
I was watching test kitchens of America and they said to put three bananas in the oven wait until they're nice and golden brown take them out and add it to the custard once you whip it up in the custard you'll get the true banana taste that's how I've been making my banana pies
I love Martha Bakes I watch her when she had her TV show and on PBS ch.2 I loves her cooking and decorating.Im a Big Martha Stewart fan. ❤️💗💖💕💓💚💙💜🧡💛
Martha, the somebody that figured bananas could be shipped then unripe was a sea captain named Baker from Wellfleet Massachusetts. His history is fascinating
what a Gorgeous Lady !! Is She Married? What a Voice!! OMG
She is QUEEN
Multi talented millionaire.
Why are southern deserts so wonderful??
They're certainly hard to beat! 😊
Rather than maple syrup, my guess is.. Kayro Syrup. Like, or dark. My preference is always light. Don't forget a pinch of salt. It enhances the pecan flavor
Martha is s wonderful teacher like the late Julia Child
Julia was an awesome cook and French chef
Love Coconut Cake! These look delicious💟
Martha had another later episode making this pastry cream/custard where she combined ALL the ingredients together then heated it up -- NO need for the tempering step. She said it tasted exactly the same. I've been doing this "combine all at once" pastry cream for years and it always turns out great and it's much easier not having to deal with that tempering step.
Thankyou for sharing these recipes. I love banana cream pie so much. Going to try your recipe.
Mmmmmm, Mmmmmm, Mmmmmm; Um hungry 😋; Martha Stewart's baking's looking 👀 sooo yummy 😋 yummy for my tummy😘
These look fantastic to an Atlanta guy!
Food looks totally awesome!
Your hair looks great.
This looks great! I can't wait to try it.
Souther cooks do not use maple syrup in pecan pie or pecan tassies,. they use sorghum syrup
Are desserts really that delicious in the south? Then I love the south 😂😂😂😂👍🏽🥰

I always peel my bananas from the bottom. I didn’t realize that most people did it the other way🤨

dear, Martha i would like to ask something. im unsure if ill get either done. ive had little friendships over the years. its hard for me to invite others in my house for some reason. and im a bit of an introvert at times. ive worked alot and felt it hard to find the time and to convince myself to be more outgoing in inviting others over. the question im thinking of is. im wanting to break the ice by maybe running into my neighbors. i live in an apartment setting. so im thinking making some foods or treats to give to them and possibly inviting them in my home. or just to directly invite them over to share the food ive prepared. or maybe inviting them over while i cook. i dont have a bar table setting so wed have to stand to be together in the kitchen. or else theyed be left in the living room and i in the kitchen. which would not be good for a nice conversation. so as not to leave them stranded in the living room what should or could i do. if you dont get a chance to answer back, ill understand cause i know you are a busy lady. i can also look it up online about how to entertain guests and etiquette. and ill do some praying about it.
Fix th sound mixing , her voice is only audible in one of the two sides of a headphone
,
Your cooking is pretty though
I have to admit that
Thanks
But watch your messages
Sound mixing is terrible
Hey Martha
I don’t believe that you eat what you make
Yet you encourage people to eat and finish them quickly
That’s very absurde
Too thick, Martha...Southerners like a pie to flow a bit. Same could be said of the spoon bread -- lighter!
