I wish they made it compatible with get famous were famous sims can have brand and also if a celebrity wears your clothes it should get greater hype.
Another way to increase hype of the outfit is to talk to another Sims in friendly interaction “hype outfit” until that outfit is Hot. Also random but worth trying.

You know, I wasn't really interested in the whole Trendi thing. I purchased the EP mostly to build new high schools. But as usual, your video gave me some keen insight into ways to make the Trendi thing actually fun and creative. Thanks so much for all your great videos. I LOVE your off-hand remarks too. I didn’t know you can create trends! Sooo cool. I also feel like it would be fun making a thrifting type store with dumpster diving in evergreen harbour. I’ve yet to explore that world, but I can’t wait to try something like that with a future save. Thank you for the amazing tips!
I have such an issue with all the followers being completely unrelated to each other 🤦🏾♀️ like yeah, different amounts on different platforms is realistic, but so is a significant increase when you sim is famous!
Also there should be a way to centrally manage all of the social media like bookmarks or something. That way you can easily cycle through your trendi, plospy, simsta, social bunny etc

Such a weird system! Why would we want to buy stuff without seeing it? 😄 Haven't played around much with this system yet. Looking forward to modders improving and streamlining the follower system at some point. Also really hate the styel influencer trends, having sims randomly appear in outfits I designed at some point but didn't approve for that specific sim does not match my controllfrwak playstyle. 😋
Haha I know right! Try before you buy is essential! Definitely the follower system could use a bit of streamlining :).

Nice video! I love that it's like a continuation of Plopsy kind of, in that I can sell more than just knitted clothing now! It would interesting to combine them so you could create looks and sell homemade clothes - also I love the retail store idea.

Oh! Setting trends could be really helpful for people playing historical or themed saves, as changing each townie individually gets so tedious! It won't do all the work for you, but it could help a lot!

I wish i saw this video earlier. I just had a sim start selling clothes on trendi. I did not know that if you sold an outfit piece, all of the swatches for that piece are now locked and listed as sold out.
Is there a cheat or a mod to remove or reset that lock?
It would be nice if we were able to use cc to create outfits

The cap for how much you can sell a look for is §9,999,999.

This would be great regardless of the blind-entry if the bags aren't only one use. For some reason I can only use a trendi outfit once and it won't allow me to re-equip it...

Now I'm curious if I can use trendi to make my sims actually purchase their clothing...do the outfits in your inventory increase your outfit count per category beyond 5?
Elaina :D... From my understanding they are completely separate from the 5 outfits in create a sim, so if you go into create a sim you will still have 5 options, but you can always click the trendi outfits to wear them from your inventory, so they kind of extend your wardrobe that way.
I got an question, If i sell an outfit for other sim so i will see them wearing it?
No. Because I’m game the sims as they don’t come with that pack don’t exist. Well if you have the pack the sim comes with they do exist however the sim in question will not wear that outfit.
i like trendi for about 5 seconds before i realised i could just sell each outfit for 50k. takes all the challenge out of gameplay to be able to get rich that quick within the confines of gameplay 😪
The amount you can sell clothes for definitely feels quite broken I completely agree! I do hope they set some sort of limit eventually.

From memory you can make them straight from a rack on your own home lot Jas :)

I wish there was a gallery-style system for trendi looks, complete with a hype feature.
Yeah, EA placing a cap on how much sims can charge on Trendi will probably happen at some point because that's what they did with the retail stores in GTW game pack. At first, a sim could make lots of profits from selling their merchandise despite needing to replace the stock.
Now, they cut it back significantly, so Sims have to work more hours and sell more items to earn profits. Though I like they made it more realistic, they also went too far and made it too tedious, as well. Now, I find myself not using this feature as much. Also, same for fishing certain fish like sturgeon that was once worth thousands of dollars in the game is now listed as worth in the hundreds only.
How do you buy stuff on trendi?? I’m on Xbox and all I’m getting is a message saying there is nothing in my cart!
All you have to do is select browse trendi from the trendi section of your phone, and from there you can purchase outfits :). Tick the buy checkbox to select the outfits you want to buy, and then you're good to go!

Thrifting costs money. EA makes no sense. I wish we had to pay for all clothing, but I guess that is too much work for them.
I dislike how all outfits are unisex. I wish we could chose female, male or unisex. I don't like seeing male townies using female outfits.
I mean the male sims wearing a dress doesn’t look right- I get that. But I don’t mind it. I’d just not use Trendi tbh. I don’t like using it anyway. I spend enough time in cas as is.
Bought this pack......... the hell is wrong with the creators? I meannnnn who actually dresses like this!?! Nobody.
Teenagers in some countries. And adults. I know people who dress like this but they don’t wear those things combined together. It’s meant too represent different styles. Preppy, streetwear, dark academia (whatever that is), and goth. Plus other stuff. Lots of people dress in one style which is what they were trying too go for, multiple styles of clothing people wear.

It ruins any reason to make money.
Hype a few times then sell for 100k easy.
Works every time any amount.
So no reason to di anything else for money.
Boring. But if you want money..go for it.
