@soobinsfallenhairstrand okay, but the after school activities are just a rabbit hole… you don’t get to actually attend cheer or anything else… so how are they more fun?
@soobinsfallenhairstrand not everyone wants the same things from the pack, im quite happy with it but i completly understand why people are upset. personally not having the option to sleep in class, ect is a really big thing and while it would be fun to do things outside of class it is still school and theres going to be times where i want to make my sims work harder or slack off. not to mention that we can already do those things right now without the pack but when you pay for it you dont get it. i know im going to love this pack but just keep in mind theres a lot of people who are more interested in the classes especially since the afterschool clubs are just rabbit holes which is also a bit disapointing (yes i know you can train just wanted to point that out but i just mean you dont get to see the actual events and the large pitch is just being wasted)
Can we talk about how fun all these voice actors are? Really felt the story! 😊

I meannnn, is it really fair to put animations, "gameplay", or whatever in the trailers that don't actually exist in game? I understand that it's done to sell a story but... it seems misleading.
When we will be able to buy The Sims 2? We all know TS2 is SO MUCH better than all of this. At the time of the sims 2, in the "Seasons" expansion the wolves were already included, now you HAVE TO BUY an expansion that adds wolves. This is disrespectful to all long franchise fans. I really hope people stop wasting money on the sims 4 expansions and have it illegally, just like me. Because you don't deserve our money.

I also really hate how old these teens look-like they shouldn’t look like preteens but there’s absolutely no reason Kevin looks 35, or Molly 27. I hope the Sims team really takes a look at the genetic system and the way they build teen shapes and physiques so they can stop inheriting their middle age parents wide hips and beer bellies 🥴

@@lilliethshadows wow that’s interesting prom is typically for seniors only, and sometimes juniors have a prom. The only dance/formal where all grades attend is homecoming.

Yes, five students max. But I think this is due to the fact that the worlds are underpopulated since only the pack and basegame is installed, so I wouldn‘t worry much about it.
Yeah what Sophie said is true, the highschool will be able to have 20 sims just like every other lot. And the BG only has like 4-5 teens so it’ll look different when people actually play it.

For someone who didn’t get that perfect high school end (class of 2020😢). This pack being made is truly a game changer for me, I’ll get to finish out prom and graduation even if its virtual😂 (thank you to the Sims 4💕)

Same, our school delayed our prom from mid february to mid march and then the rise of covid canceled it for real
Awe, this makes me sad 😭🫶🏽. It’s things like this that make you more excited for them thinking of the players when creating. My sister was class of 2020 as well.

Why is this so cringey? It just screams to me with trying too hard. From the trailer and this vid, I wouldn’t recognize it’s about high school, more like way too much lgbt and social groups thingy. My game has so many issues and glitches its not even funny. I'm one of those simmers that buy every single DLC that release to feel like I'm getting the full experience. But prom doesn't even work/activate. Y'all never completely fixed my Wedding stories and I got over that but if you don't fix highschool and I mean COMPLETELY I am officially done with the sims forever.
That happened to me but I deleted mc commands and prom worked

Probs should fix the current packs 1st before sending out new packs, I feel like where paying 50 bux for a new world and a few items that’s it it’s not feeling worth it anymore. Fix what we got 1st then make it better!
The school should have activities like theater, and other things basically all you do at the is go to class (no interaction), cafeteria, excersice machine and bathroom. Nothing else to do at the school 6.0 out of 10
I love how the voice actors are using a lot of our current teen ‘slang’. I bet it will be so weird for the next generations to rewatch this and cringe from how we used to talk. Hopefully sims will go on for that long

I was gonna how unrealistic it is for lunch to be "drama central", but then I remembered I got caught in the crossfire of two girls fighting over a boy and literally lost my lunch over it.
According to early access footage nothing really happens during lunch other than sitting and eating but fights can autonomously happen after school
@@reading1713 thats also realistic. There was a rumor at my high school where if there were three fights in a day, we got to go home early. So people were starting fights for the stupidest reasons so we could go home early for Christmas.

I can’t play the game at all it kicks me back to the worlds menu whenever I try to play a household
I was sooo excited for this pack but not no more. Come on what happened to the team who made sims 2 and 3?? Where'd the passion go? Now all we're getting is a broken game constantly and disappointment 😔
What's the point of making a teen whose mom's the principal if you can't play her household without her mom losing her role as the principal? You did this exact thing with Sarah Scott in Cottage Living.
I love the decor and clothes in the pack but the gameplay for me is really buggy and basically makes my game unplayable as I need to reset my Sims after every interaction so I'm not going to bother playing until the new update comes fingers crossed it fixes most of the issues

hello, i downloaded the new download yesterday and my whole game is somehow broken so everything is bugged and even in CAS. all features are there but the whole game is broken and my sim died right away when i opened the game or when i play with long life span my sims age up when i visit someone or after the loading screen etc. i hope this gets fixed because i can hardly play it [and yes i play with mods but even if i remove them is still broken and bugged, could it be that you can make a new update where this will be fixed for all players?]

The new pack isn't working for me
At this point, this is beyond ridiculous. I have spent over $1000 on this game and all the packs and yet I still cannot sit and play over an hour without encountering at least one bug that requires me to basically restart the whole family/or game. I am just so tired of getting excited for something and it basically falls flat, EVERY SINGLE TIME! Cottage Living was literally the only games pack that I really think they did some good stuff in, and that was released in the LAST YEAR! Please EA, if you literally care at all fix this mess or no one is gonna be excited for Sims 5, we''ll all be playing Paralives and giving someone else the baton to carry for awhile.

The most irritating part about this pack is the high school in Sims is currently named Buckingham High. Will that change or are we supposed to suspend belief so when you “join” teens at school they go to Copperdale, but when you select “send alone” they’re at Buckingham? Did anyone else notice this?
The Sims should hire an official Historian who is responsible for continuity in the lore. The Historian would review new content to make sure it is consistent with existing stories.
hmmm, you should send an email to EA since they change stuff like that at the peoples recommendations. with the goth refresh and neighborhood stories i think they’re taking lore more seriously but this is def an oversight i’m sure that can be fixed if we bring enough attention to it

That’s how I feel , I’ve been wanting to play this pack since they announced it …. But I’m extremely disappointed at the reviews and backlash their receiving. We spend wayyyy to much money on this ONE game for them to keep giving us buggy packs and lagging gameplay smh
If you haven't bought it yet, please don't give them your money. This pack is extremely broken. I and some others can't even follow their sims to school. It's just a rabbit hole in our game for us still. I spent the max on this pack, and so as you can imagine im not happy. And theres no word on this issue alone , let alone all the others other simmers are having problems with.

*PLEASE READ EA*
- You guys seriously need to add a lot for the Carnival because we have no way to travel there without going to another lot and already seeing it being a problem since sims invited don't show up there and are having Rando sims showing up at lots going inside the houses. There is an area from what I can tell that has a sitting area and a bubble tea booth already there that can maybe be a 10/10 locked lot to not be changed to anything else or allow us to add a different venue type like a Cafe/Karaoke Bar
Just build a park right next to the lot. And go to the park. If it bothers you that bad.
@@neville2308 - I'm thinking You don't comprehend the problems with that! NO sims, Not even your own go to the Carnival of their Own! Even Randos sims who work at the booths come to lot not knowing what do, and if the lot is a house they walk in like they belong there so if you like that than EA probably will Never address this problem.
@@cinnisims8448 In Tartosa, the flower cart vendor, the bakery vendor and food stall vendors all show up to work at their scheduled times even though they're part of the town square and not on an official lot, so I don't see why it would be any different for Copperdale. Same with Moonwood Mill. The werewolf packs show up at their pack hangouts and you can go there and interact with them without having to deal with a loading screen. It's one of these world's best features, in my opinion. I'm glad EA has been doing this in there most recent worlds and I hope it continues. People have been complaining about not having open worlds for years and now they are finally (sort of) giving it to us. I can't imagine why anyone would want to go back to closed lots. I also have never had anyone walk into my home uninvited in either Tartosa or Moonwood Mill. I have also seen sims go to these public areas on their own. If sims are not showing up to the Carnival, then that is a big issue and I hope they fix it before the pack is released to the public - but I wouldn't want it to be tied to a lot. That would be going backwards. They made it work in Tartosa and Moonwood Mill, so they should be able to make it work in Copperdale too. The Carnival is the thing I'm looking forward to the most out of this pack.
@@GK-ob1ni - I'm not trying to argue this issue. I get some players don't expect better when it comes to routing issues, and I had only suggested what I thought could help. This comes from my observation after watching couple of videos of EA creators who had early access.
- I personally don't like Randos showing up and walking into houses uninvited, and it's been happening way more since Cottage Living but
feel it started with Island Living and what's bad about this, you can't tell them to leave a lot of times unless you zone out.
-As for Carnival, from what I've seen of these videos, is sims don't interact with anything there except maybe the baba tea booth and seats.
-If not at a park I'm going to assume as I've not seen videos how invited sims interact if at all, but if on a residential lot, invited sims will not go to it or stay there, but probably at your house doing things they shouldn't be doing like...cooking, sleeping, taking baths and using your pc when in real life people don't do that stuff when they go to people houses, maybe family.

@@liamw6562 Unfortunately it does fall short. After school activities are rabbitholes and you can't interact at all in class - you get those chance card popups but they don't even actually happen to your sim.

You can purchase a cheerleading mat and a rugby ball in build mode I can see why it’s a rabbit hole because it would be a lot more work to add in

I'm getting it only for the objects because we all know the gameplay will be bugged, they will release multiple fixes that dont fix sht, modders will come through and save the game. The Sims without mods is a very boring and broken game. Plus, they are just falling into propaganda now, buying into "trends" and mental illness, like pronouns and stuff like that. So, dont deny yourself of curved walls, just get it (if you want) for the stuff which is kinda cool and cute. Modders will come to the rescue.

I would like a bank!! I hate how it’s just one money pot for the whole household. A bank would mean the money teens get from part time jobs would go into their own accounts and kids/teens could do chores to earn money to buy their own stuff.
For real!! I once had a teen who was 'saving up money and hiding it from his parents' and every time he came back from part-time job I'd write down the amount of money on a paper and then count it up. So much work for a simple detail ToT

no, just disappointment. the school is available, but the classes aren't interactive, and rabbit holes are practically the main thing. do not buy.

When you do cheer competitions, it says turn score into judge but there is never a judge there. Just an adult who cheers too (?!?). Prom is too short to achieve all the tasks, they show up in regular clothes and not with their date. There are many other bugs, glitches, etc. Grade never changes from a C if you attend HS with your Sim, have to send them alone to get grades up. What's the point? Sometimes it doesn't let you attend prom because so many other activities are popping up. Social bunny is annoying. Constantly bugging you, unless you deactivate it. Sims texting themselves, trying to date family members, adults trying to date teens. WTH?! If you choose graduate early, you're just done with HS-no graduation, it's like you dropped out. Broken game, shouldn't have been released until it was tested and working properly with ALL other expansions & packs.

That it cost EA to test the new expansion before releasing all buggy this is lack of respect for the consumer seriously people The Sims 4 on Steam is almost 5 thousand reais and the game is all buggy they deserve it even if there is piracy alias everyone should download The Sims pirate, in good faith who pays to have The Sims doesn't love the hard earned money.

Whenever I try to talk to someone they scream at me, even if we are friends! Even if it's a family member. My sim does things by themselvs even if I didn't select anything. And I put the settings so only I can decide. It's really getting on my nerves.
I wish we could get summer break with seasons EP and high school yearz together , so excited for this and all the updates tho 🥰💞 !

There’s a saved file that redid all worlds she’s pretty good and has a lot of events in the game your sim has off a lot during summer for summer break vacation etc check it out
@@divalove88 it still wouldve been nice to have it in the game though since i may be wrong but i imagine it could affect your sims performance also other sims arent off so idk it just feels wrong but im still fine with it since i didnt think of having the summer holidays until i seen the comment u replied to

I just want yall to know I haven't bought this pack, werewolves, wedding pack, & the other 2 or 3 packs that have came out I DID not and Will not waste my money until yall get it together. Why advertise something that the game is NOT I don't like that. I don't see the sims 4 lasting to much longer I hope yall get it together with the sims 5 cause other then that paralives is gonna give you a run for your money 😁 toodles ✌🏾
