One of those Miatas could be what I'm driving now. I just witnessed the labor and delivery! I love how the Japanese work. They are truly dedicated to their jobs, not sloppy and lazy unlike others. And that is why Japanese made and assembled products have quality and durability you can count on. Watching them work, how they assembled my car makes me loving my Mazda even more!
Honestly I don't think it's possible for any global automaker to be sloppy or lazy nowadays! Quality standards are too high, consumer demand and stockholder pressures are too great, and big portions of the process are automated by robots anyways! With that being said, as a Mazda owner (2020 CX-9), I appreciate the company's holistic attitude towards their products, Mazda is my favorite of all the Japanese automakers.
And your Miata will be worth serious $$$ ten years from now. All the German brands, by contrast, collapse in residual value after their warranties expire.
I’ve owned a 3 for 4 years , which I traded in for a 6 which I drove for 10 and then sold to a family member, and bought a cx9. Truly great cars at half the price of a Toyota.
I’m thankful my ND MX-5 was built in Japan. I like that it was assembled by individuals with a high work ethic that cares about the quality of their work.
I'm on my third Miata. Starting in 91 and just purchased a 2019 ND Club which is an awesome little pure fun packed grin-inducing, 137 mph sleeper!! Love the new improved engine with the 7500 RPM redline, it's a screamer especially when you get rid of the stock muffler. Jim g Sunrise, fl
I had the last Miata with flip headlamps, '96. What a terrific car. It saw more of North America than 90% of all Americans. No issues in 3 years. NONE. Good job. ありがと
Gives me a look into how my 2016 MX-5 Club was made partially by robots & partially by human hands. The technology in manufacturing is amazing. At the end of the line more human inspection to check. For a small car company Mazda really builds fun to drive cars / SUVs / CUVs & roadsters !
What a pleasure to watch dedicated people building cars they can be proud of! I bought my first MAZDA 626 in West-Berlin in 1979. It cost me nearly a year's salary, but I loved the superior finish of that car. Quite a number of people smirked at me for buying such an "exotic" car at the time. Good work, guys!!
As a former contractor at several GM plants in Michigan. I was amazed how clean these 🇯🇵plants are! Moreover, I was surprised to not see the employees spitting tobacco, drunk or stoned on the job! The Japanese don't have anti-Japanese influences affecting their work like we do in America. We have too many "Emma Goldman" types always trying to mess up our country.
Hello from Toronto. Amazing video. As a retired automotive manufacturing manager, I’m impressed to see the level of automation and robotics they’re using. I’ve been to Japan many times and I am familiar with lots of car plants and they’re doing an excellent job. I’ve owned four Mazdas (626, MPV, Millennia and Mazda6) and all were very good. A make to consider seriously.
Same here. I just bought a 2021 Mazda 3, 2.5 liter, a week ago. It's my first new car. My previous car was a certified used 2012 Chevrolet Sonic, and it was basically repair bill after repair bill. I'm hoping things are much different this time around.
Great video, thank you for uploading! Loving every second with my 2019 ND RF. Before that I had an NC PRHT. And their sedans and SUV’s are fun to drive with great quality interiors. Mazda has a life long customer with me!
I have a Mazda 6 GT and I am loving it!!! Mazda builds top quality vehicles and it is also the most overlooked and underestimated car manufacturer. I am planning to keep my Mazda FOR A VERY LONG TIME....
