Please correct me if I'm wrong. TACOM establishes a Command (Senior/Subordinate) relationship between the organizations whereby gaining commander has direct tasking authority over the gained unit.
Good catch. This video was produced in August of 2021. At the time, FM 6-0 covered Command and Support relationships. The current FM 6-0 was published in 2022 at which time we moved the discussion of Command and Support relationships to the October 2022 version of FM 3-0.
Excuse me, can anyone help explaining the word "gaining unit"? Does it mean "the HQ which gain more unit" or "the unit which was assigned/attached to the other HQ"?
Sorry I didn't see your question sooner. When unit-A is assigned or attached to unit-B, then unit-B is the gaining unit. It's the unit that received the attachment.
Great content. Keep it coming.
Great videos-keep ‘em coming!

This should say FM 3-0 Operations (October 2022), NOT FM 6-0. FM 3-0 addresses OPCON, ADCON, and TACON. Big mistake there.
