Asa I don't think most people felt the need to rearrange their childhood bedroom all the time. I have ADHD and I didn't even have that kind of energy. I was too busy catching frogs and doing crafts to even care about what my room looked like
I am the opposite I have adhd and I am always starting stuff like moving stuff around then getting side tracked with little projects I find when moving stuff 😂

How about turning the other bedroom into a "task/activity/games" room for Abbie. Things like the table tasks and all of the other activities that she enjoys doing.
I work at a Vet clinic and flexi leashes are the bane of our existence. So many things can go wrong with them. I am a dog person but I do have a cat also.
Asa, I never thought you didn’t like dogs. I have an aunt who cringes every time a dog comes up to her. I find that really strange.

Dogs are like kids, especially bigger dogs, and dogs tend to have a lot of health issues as they get older, consume a lot of food, and need constant attention. Like I have two cats, after age 1, they just go and sleep somewhere 90% of the day.

You should water them tomato plants. There won't be any left by the time he comes home if you dont get some water on them. Also, if you wait till evening time to cut the grass you wont burn the grass and it has time to cool off. At least thats what my brain is telling me. 😂 i could be wrong.
I love both dogs and cats! I mostly grew up with cats. Some of my family members had dogs and I fell in love with them. ❤🐱🐶

I 100% get why other people love dogs, they just aren't for me ... for many reasons.
Most dog people don't understand people who aren't dog people and I feel I'm always having to explain why I want nothing to do with my friends dogs.

Enjoy those "married" days. You will miss them one day. I'm almost 7 months without my husband.
I vibe with the need a vacation from your spouse thing. Im a housewife with disabilities but my beloved husband works from home, so we literally spend 24 hours a day together. We had to learn how to ask for space and a break. Since buying our own home though, I have my own office and he has his so we can choose when to be in the other's space. It's a skill every married person should learn.
My husband and i have been together 24/7 for 12 years....literally all day every day. He is a disabled veteran. We never had "those" days until after we had 4 kids. Now we def get on each others' nerves...but its just stress of life. Bottom line we get along pretty well considering we get very few breaks from each other.

Oct, 1, 2024. I am the oposite, I am a dog person, not a cat person, I don't hate cat, but they are not my favorire animaal.
Re: (possibly)offending any " dog person(s) - coz you 'not a dog person' ---- speaking as a 'full- on dog person" --- not at all offended lol! Just means there's more of 'em f us ' dog people' lol!
I'm not so fond of cats myself ( weirdly allergic t cat fleas! - not the actual cats!)....I'm not fond of 'em coz even the most well- fed....will hunt n kill wild- life n then have the 'gaul' t try 'give me the gift!'....I wouldn't mind so much if they hunted n then actually ate whatever....but seems they mostly do it f fun!(not necessity!).
I also do not " get" how a cat can jump on your lap,be purring n all friendly...n then get their claws out ( usually in most sensative areas!)...very 'duplicious' in my mind!
Even stranger....despite me not 'being a cat person' ....those in whatever neighbourhood I'm living at...will 'decide'they like me or whatever....n come around...! I tell them...but do they listen? No! Lol! Even get followed sometimes....maybe it's coz I mostly ignore them? But my cat loving friends say It's coz they know that I'd never hurt them!
Dogs are so much easier t deal with! Treat em right....n they'll be there for you forever!

My husband is not a dog person either Asa. But we have had our little dog for 11 years and I can tell you, he will be as much of a mess as me when she leaves us. We also have 5 cats, I prefer dogs but still love the cats and my dog thinks she is a cat as well,,lol

I am kind of the same. I LOVE dogs and very much enjoy them and have dog sat MANY of my neighbors dogs over the years and still do on occasion. They really are like having a small child and need so much attention and care and I am wise enough to know this and not put myself in the position when I don’t feel I can properly provide that though the love would be there. Not fair to the animal. I wish others had common sense also. I am though a huge cat person!! I have had many and multiple at one time. We get each other…LOL!! I am currently actually fostering one. They fit my lifestyle😺.
