I hate I sold my Latios / Latias GX Alt Art card for $150. It was in NM condition. I had no idea the price would keep on increasing! Got a nice profit but I can't believe it went from $20 all the way to hundreds of dollars!
I have one too that I graded myself two months ago. It was in my binder for years and to be honest I didn’t even think it was PSA 10 worthy which was why I sent it to BGS; it had a couple of print lines on the back of the card. My plan was to sell it as hopefully a BGS 9.5 and use that money towards purchasing a PSA 10 when I noticed the prices blowing up. I was absolutely shocked it got a 10 with the only 9.5 being centering. I’ve sent several SM rainbow rares to BGS in the past that I felt were in better condition, and none of those came close to a BGS 10. Anyway, grading is a complete crapshoot and I’m pleasantly surprised for once.
@@kingrex9622 moltres too man, buy them all while you can under $200. Keep lugia & blaziken under $150 purchase price, karp waillord under $200 purchase price right now and youre doing good, hope the market value keeps going up on them all (biased owner of all these cards for under $100)

I wish people would stop grading cards, it's getting that these days all you can find to buy are graded cards and I just want a card to put in my binder I don't want an ugly slab of plastic.

That Latias & Latios Alt Art that sold for $560 is a PSA 7 at best, if you want a 9 or 10 quality you’d have to pay $1k. It is by far the most valuable Alt Art.
I love it too so beautiful the day my mother passed away I got that card means so much to me blaziken reminds me of my mom floating up saying bye to us !!! And ironically it was a sun set just like the picture I swear it was magical !

I agree with you on the top 2 cards. The Latios Latias alt art should be on the top, but with less copies selling than the Moonbreon, TCGplayer's estimate is lagging on its raw value. It should have been top dog.
Alt art cards are the only modern cards i really like, i don't really care much about value or anything like that i just like adding them to my top loader binder

Despite the exponencial growth on the tag team alt , even if they are a bit too high atm, they just were too undervalued before. With few psa copies (some of them), not so easy pullrates, sets out of print and just great art overall it was bound to happen.

I grabbed a Moon-Breon off eBay for like $220 it has a small crease in it but generally a great card but I've been looking to trade it and some $ for a non creased one to add to my collection & I believe on Monday I'm going to grab the Giratina V alt art from a local shop for $300 but I'm like hmm $300 for 1 card u could put that $300 towards the gun you want or towards a vacation for the family so I keep debating 1 sides like don't do it that's way too much money then the other side is like all your bills are paid you got $ saved in the bank what do you work for if you can't buy the things you want to.......
I love the Latias/ Latios alt art, the only thing I don't love is the whole "Wanna bang when we get home?" Look in their eyes LMAO The card would have been better if they just had their eyes closed.

Yeah, ADP is from Cosmic. Also keep in mind Cosmic was popular like Unbroken when it was released because of the 🌈 tag team Zards. 🌈 rares were the chase cards during SM era. Now 🌈 rares aren’t popular anymore and every tag team SM set’s chase cards today are either Alt Arts or Trainers.

Any cards that are super mint are worth grading. Otherwise condition is subjective and hard to tell by pics
I’m sure you can easily find affordable raw modern cards for your binder no matter what that card is, they’re just not going to be mint.

Its crazy that the lowest listed for the L&L was getting to almost double the market. That card has exploded and very happy to have one.

My thoughts exactly. Also subs are very nice on cards you want to spend thousands on. I like sub grades on vintage especially.
Also the black label 10 is difficult to get. I’ve submitted close to 1500 cards and I’ve received 20 or so black labels
